HORRIBLE!!!! First time there after already signing up for a membership online (big mistake).
Cashier was extremely rude and acted like I was nothing more than an inconvenience when I had my membership number but not my card. I told her I didn't see a service desk when I entered and she rolled her eyes and sighed. She pointed to the EXIT and said that's where the service desk is. Why is at at the exit that is completely separated from and not visible to the entrance?
She then complained to me about having been there since 10 AM (it wasn't even 6 pm...) and was very short with me but expected me to empathize. Yeah, no.
Then there was no indication that they ONLY accept Visa Credit or Mastercard Debit... So, I asked to suspend my transaction so I could get my other card out of my car. They couldn't suspend because apparently, like their credit acceptance, are archaic with their technology elsewhere in the store.
I get my other card and I cannot run it as credit, because MC is only accepted as debit 🙄 and I can't run it as debit because I don't have my PIN on my brand new card... (yeah, that's my fault but come on. Why should it be so difficult?!)
The entire experience was horrible and my 2 year old had to leave without the crocodile she fell in love with. Get it together Costco. Leave the stonage. Upgrade your systems. Become more inclusive. Also, train your employees to not blatantly complain to the customers about having to work an 8 hour shift (poor thing)... Or, you know, just be decent toward customers in general may be a good start.
I will never step foot inside of another location, let alone this one. Get...

I just left crying for not even the first time and have finally decided to be done. Recent updates to their system. Have you scanned your membership when you walk in rather than simply showing your card to an associate in addition to scanning your card upon checkout and getting your receipt looked over and checked through when you leave. The company announced that the scanners at the beginning of the store were to reduce checkout time when there was backlash because it now feels like an actual prison in Costco. I don't know the exact statistics Nationwide, but I can say with absolute certainty that unless their membership somehow skyrocketed since those scanners were implemented, I have seen an immense increase in lines and wait times in the past couple months. In addition to that, whenever you go to check out, you are always treated like a criminal. I understand it's a membership club but it really starts to feel like they are your parole officers when they treat you horribly at even the slightest sign that your membership is expired or your card isn't working. I have been treated more. Kindly and made cry fewer times when I accidentally drove into a restricted section on a naval Air Base and I just think...
Read moreThe employees that work at this location harass my wife and me whenever we use the same card for two separate purchases. I cover the food, and she covers clothes or other things that she wants that doesn’t come out of our joint account. Every time they have to make it a point that the card holder has to make the purchase, and we are both on the same account. They made us today use both our separate membership cards for two items and stood there and watched us pull one card out for both purchases and refused to let us use the same credit card for both transactions. “The member must use their payment card not yours”. When I tried to use my wife’s card for my purchase this time, the employee would t let us cash out and told his coworker to “help” and both wouldn’t leave until I pulled out my wallet to get my credit card to complete the transaction. The other employee that was there to “help” with the transaction wanted to talk to me and inform me of the policy after the fact and I didn’t interact and left. The Costco over by rivertown mall in Grandville is more equipped to help and are nicer. Any time I’ve had two purchases with my wife they have asked if we are on the same account and we flash both membership cards and move on. They will also give us a heads up if we can or can’t do something or have changed policy before making it an issue that holds up 30 people in a self...
