Scarlow's Art and Coffee — Restaurant in Casper

I frequent Scarlow's often, they offer a coffee menu that is sophisticated and drinks that are not super sweet like a lot of other local shops. The atmosphere is always changing with fresh new art, their staff and new owners have been friendly to myself and my small children each time we’ve been in. The art supply shop next door (Goedickes) has a nice collection of quality tools, supplies, high end wool yarn, and even some cute gifts. I was in today grabbing a few things for my recent project and picked some cute little pens and a sticker book up as well for my kiddos!

Coffee orders can sometimes be slow (usually about 10 mins which I don’t think is slow at all personally) but they are a small business with a small staff running two shops, it’s part of the experience, this is a stop and enjoy it type of coffee and art gallery, if you need fast coffee hit the Starbucks...

If your coffee vibe is one of a little more class and a little less trash, then this is the place for you! I love the coffee here, and I love the environment it is served in. No dingy cave with questionable sanitation and wondering what the previous person sitting down brought in with them. Only quality teas, coffee, and service. Plus, the local art and handcrafted products make the perfect gifts. Will you get an overload of sugary syrup and whipped cream here? No. But you will get the sense that your life has improved just a little bit after the barista smiles, hands you your flavorful coffee or tea (try the April Fog!), and you walk back out into this town with renewed serenity. Thank you, Scarlows, for raising the bar and not being one "those"...

Calming, a great place to sit down and work or just relax. Because they open at seven, it's a great option for your before-work pick me up. The artwork is beautiful, often local, and is changed regularly - you can buy prints upstairs and pottery is scattered throughout. The more recent addition of coffee and treats fit right in, with handcrafted woodwork in the countertops and tables. Staff is friendly and professional, and everything is delicious. There's bound to be something to suit your taste; I recommend it every time.
