My daughter requested KFC for dinner last night 2/22/2024,so I ordered a 16 piece chicken tender meal online. My daughter really wanted the Mac and Cheese so I picked our sides and made 2 of them the Mac and Cheese for her. I placed the order around 6:15 and it set the pick up time to 6:34. I loaded the kids in the car and went up to pick everything up. We got there by the pick up time and when I walked in there were several unhappy people waiting in the lobby. I walked over to the pickup area and there wasn't an order waiting for me. Nobody said anything to my for about 5 minutes as they watched me search the orders for mine. Finally, someone asked my name and I told them. They looked at the screen and said that they were working on my order. I said , "No worries" and waited. 10 minutes passed and no one that was waiting had gotten their orders yet, but people walking in were able to place an order at the counter and got theirs in a minute, or two. I waited another 10 minutes with the other people and still nothing. I hear someone in the back making food start telling people that they were out of Mac and Cheese. I thought that since I was told that they were working on my order and people were getting there food that it wouldn't affect my order. Plus, no one said anything to me about it, or asked me if I wanted to substitute for anything. So I waited another 10 minutes and still nothing. Now, my kids are in the car because it was supposed to be a quick in and out, but it wasn't. Another 10 minutes (40 minutes at this point) passed and I hear my name. I grab the bag and check it. My sides consisted of fries and 3 coleslaws that my kids will not touch. I asked about the Mac and Cheese and they said, "sorry, would you like something else?" My kids were in the car for way too long, we were hungry, and now were were late for something. I grabbed the bag and left. When we got home and I gave everyone their food and they start eating, I hear, "the chicken is really hard to eat". I check it and it was pretty overcooked. So now we have a meal that is overcooked, missing something that was special for my daughter, and cost $50 dollars (plus another $10 for the Mac and Cheese that I had to pick up on the way home). I just placed an $80 pick up order from their website, and waited until it was ready and then came to pick it up inside like it said. When I get inside the store, the lady at the front desk named FRANCESCA was already yelling at the people in front of me telling them they had no chicken tenders to order something else. Then I get to counter and I tell her my pick up order is ready, and in a mean tone she says who are you? I tell her my name and that the customer service isn’t very nice and she proceeds to tell me she will not give me my order of food, so I then ask for a refund for my $80 and she tells me she will not refund my money and to leave bc I said her customer service was rude. I then proceeded to go outside and call kfc for a refund, she sees me outside on the phone and comes out from behind the counter, thru the dining room and out of the store and starts yelling at me and following me and screaming at me while I am on the phone getting a refund from corporate all while the kfc corporate lady I was on the phone with could hear her yelling at me in the background. The most insane experience from a fast food place. They really just hire anybody and that is why they lost my business for life. I would stay far away from the kfc on semeron near Fern Park, especially if FRANCESCA is working! Read moreThe worst experience ever at a KFC. Went through the drive-thru and ordered a 12 piece meal (extra crispy). The drive-thru person said they only had 8 pieces of extra crispy and they could do the rest (4) in original (not our favorite), but I agreed to it. It wasn't even close to closing (8:35 pm), but wasn't even offered to wait for more to be cooked if desired. Got the food and went home. Opened it up and had 10 pieces of original and 2 pieces of extra crispy. Six of the 10 pieces were legs too. I went back thru the drive-thru and told the person that answered that I had brought food and wanted to return in and get a refund. When I pulled up to the window, the manager extended her hand to take the food back, I gave the receipt, and asked if she needed the card that was used too. She took the card and refunded the money. After giving me the card and credit receipt she said she was very sorry. I said, Are you, because you never asked what was wrong with the food. Then she proceeded to ask well what was wrong? I said does it really matter, because you didn't even care to ask what was wrong with it. This must happen all the time is what I summed it up to be. First and last time going here.
