Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Castle Rock

As a former manager of a freddy's in Colorado springs I love visiting other Freddys and knowing that I will be well taken care of. I have visited this location multiple times in the past and always had a great experience but today around 9p.m. on 5/19 the service was not at Freddy's standard. The girl who took our order did not enter it in right, as well as she didnt repeate it or confirm the order in any way. Once at the window the guy who was on register did not seem to know what he was doing and again did not repeate the order. Upon receiving the order we discovered that the #7 that my wife ordered had mustard on it when we specified no mustard mayo instead, they did take the onions off so that was right at least. Next item was the single with cheese add tomato and jalapenos in a lettuce wrap. This was disappointing because it was missing MOP(mustard onion and pickles) as well as not being wrapped in a liner for easy eating. So I go inside to inform them what was wrong and grab a fork and knife to eat my single. I walk up to the counter and none of the coldline employees who are closest help instead the make/expo girl comes over after a few minutes I explained what was wrong with my single(didnt know that they messed up my wife's burger at this point). She explains that it was her fault and apologized but also said that she was learning g hotline right then, I noticed that she lacked a trainer.

Other things wrong, one Male employee was biting his finger nails in the back and in plain view of the guests. I forgot to keep track of time but it seemed like it was not within the 5 min standard. Also you drive through screen is still asking for huricain Harvey donations and did not show us our order.

I didn’t write anything after the last 2 bad experiences but the 3rd time is the charm. When one asks for cheese fries or cheese sauce on their hot dog they have 2 options; regular cheese sauce or spicy cheese sauce. They also have shredded cheddar to put on things, i.e. they don’t melt it via microwave, they just sprinkle it on. I have asked for cheese on my hot dogs before and it’s always gamble. I always ask for cheese sauce and I can get sprinkled cheddar cheese or cheese sauce….usually spicy (though they NEVER have asked me whether I wanted regular or spicy). Tonight was the first time they asked if I wanted regular or spicy cheese sauce. I was kind of shocked and I asked, “you mean like real, non spicy melted cheese sauce, non-spicy”? The girl laughed at my expense and replied yes. I told her I wanted the regular cheese sauce. Fast forward and I get my meal. First I pull off to the side out of the drive-thru and check that I got cheese sauce. Yes, I did. Fast forward some more and I get home, take the first bite of the hot dog. Sure enough it’s spicy. So is the cheese sauce on my fries. I write all of this because this is the 3rd time this has happened to me and the moral of the story is ALWAYS check your order coming out of this particular Freddy’s. Staff was rude exception of the cashier, restaurant was a pig stye, never tried a cheese curd and wouldn't know if I liked them or not and they wouldn't even let me sample one, my burger was wrong even after the lady making the orders repeated the order i had back to me. She literally repeated my order and immediately after handed me the wrong order. Fry sauce was out and splattering everywhere, i informed the lady by the name of Katelyn about the fry sauce being out and it splattering everywhere and she didn't seem to care at all and said "it's been broken forever now" and just stood there and made me have to ask for a container of fry sauce instead. She hands me just one fry sauce and when i asked for another she rolled her eyes. Another customer tells her the same thing about the fry sauce dispenser 5 minutes after i did and she was very polite to him (unlike me) and went out right away to grab the dispenser so it could be filled. Also wanted to mention that since Katelyn wouldn't let me sample a simple cheese curd to see if I would've liked them seeing as i never tried them I was obligated to order a small order which was 4.19 i believe and i didnt really even care for them.
