I would give 5 stars but have never dealt with a fundraiser that doesnt accept returns on whatever doesn't sell. I was under the impression that if an entire box of 60 does not sell, the unsold chocolate was to be returned. That's how it has been in the past. But my daughter's teacher said they are not accepting any unsold candy bars and the full $60 must be paid. The dark chocolate with almonds is hard to sell and now I apparently have to buy those candy bars we won't eat. I suggest making boxes of 30 rather than 60. Also, have to add because I see a post with another parent complaining about no partial returns, to claim quality is the reason for no returns does not quite make sense. What is the difference in me continuing to sell the rest of the box, and returning it so the company can have it redistributed? it's clearly because the company is trying to save cost. The paper I signed said we take responsibily for the box but did not state no returns on partial boxes. I reitterate that if thats the case, a box of 30 at a time makes more sense. Very disappointed in...
Read moreOf all the fundraisers I've done, Van Wyk Confections always has my back. My favorite fundraisers are the chocolate bars and the chocolate covered pretzels! The best thing of all is that the price is great for the quality of the product given. Some students do struggle when selling the 60 box of chocolates but since the time given is quite long (my opinion) I think 60 is a great number. Also, I'm greatful of the way Van Wyk Confections provides different amounts for each flavor based on which ones will sell more. The pretzels are extremely great for selling when it's around December due to the Chirstmas spirit and their great snack to treat yourself to. Overall, I've had no complaints with Van Wyk Confections and will continue to work with yall when the times comes....
Read moreWe have successfully been selling Van Wyk Confections for a fundraiser at our school for years and it is always a hit. People start asking about the fundraiser at the beginning of the school year. This year the freshman class tried something new and ordered half of our order in pretzel rods and the other half in chocolate bars. It has been a fun competition to see who sold out first. I wish I had ordered more boxes! They are selling so quickly! The chocolate bars are quite tasty and the pretzel rods are too! Our community loves this fundraiser! Thank you, VanWyk! And James, thank you for the speedy processing on our order and delivery! 5 star customer service...
