I placed my online order at this location on 5/9/24, pick up time was set to 1:15pm. I arrive at 1:20 to give them a few extra minutes to make my order since online it showed that they haven’t even started to process of making it, I thought it was online error so once walking in asking for my order, the cashier just looked confused and started asking the employee who was taking the curbside pick up out if he had seen it, he replied with that he left it on the counter, he doesn’t know what happened to it, he’ll deal with it later, the cashier goes ahead and tell the cook to make my order fast, I would of preferred if they took the time to actually make it right instead of serving me the slop they call bbq, I should of known to since the area and inside the store didn’t smell anything like bbq. Once given my order and getting back to work since I was on my lunch break and had little time since they didn’t even make my order, I unwrapped my pulled pork sandwich and what a surprise, it’s cold to the touch, the pork was so dry it started crumbling in my hands and was grainy when eating, I asked for jalapeños and onions on it and they only put one slice of jalapeño and one ring of onion for the entire sandwich. Not only that but I got myself Mac n cheese thinking it would of been at least decent but what I got was a half empty cup of Mac n cheese that was so watery the so called cheese was running of the noodles, the texture was equivalent to someone swishing around the Mac n cheese in their mouth and spitting it into the cup, that’s how nasty and watery it was. And lastly, my drink was the cherry on top, it was filled with ice but only half way with lemonade!?? It would be understandable if it was soda since the carbonation foams to the top but this is lemonade, no foam just liquid so to only fill my cup half way when I ordered the big yellow cup which I also didn’t recieve since they gave my a bland cup. Overall, I’ll never be back here again and I had already let everyone at my work see what I got so they never step place in this excuse of a bbq spot and get ripped...

I was really curious to try this place 😄 I knew as soon as I got out of my car this was going to be a great experience. The air smells like the Gods created a universal barbecue air freshener and unleashed it in this room . You don’t come to a great barbecue restaurant for ambience, and the simplicity actually plays right into the restaurant’s charm. Aaron the manager and pitmaster, stands behind the counter to greet and cut your order. He’s also happy to help you to answer your questions . diners have the option of adding bread, jalapenos, pickles, and/or onions to any meal. At most restaurants, pulled pork is a pretty safe option. It’s one of the easier meats to smoke, so it’s rarely bad, but it also doesn’t shine. That’s not the case at Dickey’s . In fact, this is some of the best pulled pork I’ve had. It’s tremendously juicy and tender, pulling apart with just the slightest tweak of the fork . three sauces: sweet, spicy, and regular . I’m a big believer that great barbecue doesn’t need to be propped up by sauce, that it should stand alone just fine. And Dickey’s does! But each sauce brings a unique, tasty profile, and the sweet is particularly addicting. Hierarchy: 10 out of 10 😀😀😀😀😀 I will come back 😄 hungry 🤤 for more . PS: I have an accent and Aaron was...

Last weekend, my family and I rented an air bnb for a little stay cation in Palm Springs and I got hungry as we began to pack to go home. As I was hungry, I decided to stop by Dickey's Barbecue Pit for dinner. As this was my second time at the restaurant, I thought the exceptional food and service were just limited to Gardena as other restaurants had been similar; I was thankfully wrong.

I ordered their pulled pork sandwich, which melted in my mouth. Although they usually offer it with coleslaw, I asked for it removed. Generally, I'm not too fond of cole slaw. The pork was juicy and tender, and the smoky flavor and tangy barbecue sauce combination were absolutely delicious.

As this was my second time, the staff was accommodating in providing me their recommendations. They ensured I had everything I needed throughout the meal to make this a great dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Dickey's Barbecue Pit for anyone who loves barbecue. The food is fantastic, and the service is exceptional.

If you want great food and excellent service, please check...

Walked in, dropped my jaw when I saw the prices...and walked right back out then drove 2 miles to pay almost half the price in a sit down bbq restaurant up the street. I don't know who sets the pricing if it's the Franchise owner or Corporate but this is inflation price gouging at its worst. These are teetering toward filet mignon at fine restaurants pricing. Unbelievable. Edit 1/24. Gave it another chance... and I cannot begin to count all the ways this Dickeys is terrible. They are either not part of the corporate or Dickeys in its entirety has gone way downhill. The Mashed potatoes are Fake flake processed potatoes... no cheese, no bacon, no green onions... just dry plain boxed potatoes. The green beans are canned, not even remotely the Dickeys brand. They don't take Dickeys gift cards as one customer ahead of us was upset... when we ordered their website didn't honor our coupon.... this owner has no pride in their business and other than the interior and the meat... NOT really Dickeys.

Just ok bbq. Not worth the price for just ok. If this is bbq Texas style, I'll just stick with Californian bbq. I had the pulled pork sandwich; made it a meal (add 2 sides), coleslaw & baked beans. The sandwich was good, the sides not so much. The coleslaw was ok but the beans tasted like it was from a can (and not a good brand of bean from a can). The service I received was mixed. Then man serving me was gruff with an sour face; not sure if he was working here on an prison release program or just having a bad day; definitely does not belong in customer service. However, the young woman who rang up my order was super friendly and very helpful. She definitely belongs in customer service. I'm adding a star just for her. I know bbq can be pricey, but for what you get at Dickey's, I just didn't see the value.
