Hot Lips Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Cathedral City

Stopped by for the first time this morning and wow! It felt like the coffee shop experience that’s gone missing at so many.

Staff 10/10: The staff was amazing. They were assisting someone at the counter and still greeted/welcomed me when I came inside. Very personable and loved that they offered me to try my drink before deciding if I wanted more sweetener.

Atmosphere 9/10: Please keep in mind the shop just opened, so no doubt it will get even better. Decent amount of seating with people chatting with friends, getting work done on their laptops, and just hanging out. If more seating is added, it will be a 10! Definitely the type of place I can see myself getting some work done at while enjoying some coffee.

Selection: 9/10. Again, please keep in mind the shop just opened, so this may change. Great coffee options and my iced coffee was great! Only thing holding it back from a 10 for me is a desire for more pastry/sweets options. :)

Stepping into Hot Lips Coffee Shop is an immediate mood shift—it’s been awhile since I walked into a place and felt such a special feeling of community. The atmosphere truly gives off that authentic, amazing "disco desert energy" I've been searching for.

New member of the Tara fan club! The entire aesthetic is a reflection of her visionary style, which just oozes out of the place. What makes the atmosphere so magnetic is the service. Every smile from the staff is immediately followed up with an authentic hello. The barista creates a connection that is rare to find today, making every visitor feel like a regular.

Beyond the incredible vibe is a reliably balanced, well-made cup of coffee. It’s clear that quality and intention go into every drink. It made for a great morning, and I can't wait to come back for more.

Came to PS for the weekend and needed some real coffee from a local/non-chain place and fell in love with Tara’s shop. The coffee is great and, even better, the vibes are immaculate. I really appreciated the local businesses featured/available for purchase and could have spent hours going through each detail and talking with Tara through it all. This place deserves all the business possible and it’s even worth going out of your way or a little further to go to Hot Lips for your drink or treat.
