Totally Worth Extending Our Trip For!
Mosey’s was high on our list to try, but when we got to town on Monday, they were closed. Google said they’d be closed Tuesday too — and we wanted to try it so badly that we extended our stay another night at the Pacific Motel (which, by the way, was a five-star experience on its own). Turns out Mosey’s was open Tuesday — so yes, their Google hours need updating!
By Wednesday, we were beyond excited. My friend got the Junior (no onions or lettuce), I went for the Triple smashburger, we split a basket of fries, and my partner ordered the Chicken Big Taco. The verdict? My Triple Smashburger was hands-down the best burger I’ve ever had. Crispy edges, amazing sauce, not greasy or messy — just perfect.
The fries were seasoned well but could’ve been crispier. Still, we nearly polished off the basket. Next time, I’ll skip the fries and go straight for that Triple again.
Mosey’s has that nostalgic, beachside charm — a total throwback in the best way. Simple, satisfying, and just really good food in a chill setting. Sometimes it’s the little things in life that leave the...

The burger buns are crumbly and dry and the Smashburger itself was dry and super sparse. Mine came with a teaspoon of grilled onions and one pickle slice. 😪 And what’s this craziness about charging extra for lettuce and tomato? Charge $1 more and just make it part of the burger. I think with a few tweaks, Mosey’s could be amazing and I really want them to succeed. But in order to be successful in Cayucos, you’ve got to...

Brand new to the Cayucos scene, Mosey’s Burgers opened just about three weeks ago and is already serving up some seriously satisfying burgers. For the price point, it’s hard to beat — everything is made fresh and cooked to order, and it really hits all the marks for a great-tasting burger.
The menu is simple, and that’s a good thing — they’ve focused on doing a few things really well. No frills, just quality ingredients and solid execution. Whether you’re a local or just passing through the Central Coast, this spot is definitely worth a stop.
