UPDATE: We love dippers but the male owner always makes us feel weird. He gets frustrated with our toddlers, goes super slow when cutting bananas for our toddlers (who can't eat frozen bananas and so we ask for it unfrozen). I have seen him happily make the "nacho style" for his friends but his hostility when we ask for it is uncalled for. It's happened 3 times! Yet other staff and the female owner are so kind and willing to accommodate us. We are loyal customers who go often, but I think after tonight we aren't going anymore. The reason we come, and often, is because our toddlers LOVE it. But, I don't want my toddlers (and us) treated as second rate customers because we aren't "in" with the male owner. The service was unmatched, and I even was let in on the owner's secret favorite combination.
The location was adorable, and wholesome. It made me feel like a kid in the candy shop.
My only wish was that they had outdoor seating. The place was packed, which made my heart happy.
I will be back at least every week, especially in the summer!
