The food is amazing, my kids love it. They have reallly saved my butt when I needed dinner for my kids at a value more than once. I spent a few days in hospital this week and had little food in the house when I got home monday. Wednesday night 20 minutes before close they made miracles when I ordered the chicken teriyaki O'hana meal for 4. They 100% saved the evening from being bland white rice and chicken broth - only stuff I can eat right now. My kids were so thrilled they asked if they could walk down to the restaurant and pick it up (we live very close-by). They definitely gave us more rice and macaroni salad than we ordered and there is so much leftover chicken and macaroni salad my kids had it for lunch too. Their employees are so friendly and nice ro my kids, they always cheerful smiles and have great atitudes. My 10 year old daughrter is a fiend for their white sticky rice so there are no leftovers of that. For $45 thats a win for this mom.who was happy with rice too - I can eat that right now 😉 seriously y'all didnt even know I was sick and you sensed we might need more rice and macaroni salad. Truly a magical place full of all the delicious Hawai'ian food I absolutely love.
Thank you Mo'bettah's for being amazing every...
Read moreHorrible food. Chicken was charcoal not chargrilled I mean come on, it crunched like cereal. I couldn’t even cut it with the plastic knife that I was given with my plate. The food I was served never should’ve left the kitchen. The beef had the consistency of rubber bands. It was not tender at all. Upon trying to eat a more tender piece of chicken, it got stuck in my throat because there was so much burnt charring on it. The rice had so much charcoal on it I couldn’t even eat it because it took on the taste of charcoal from my chicken. The cooks at this restaurant need more training on proper safety and handling of food. Clean your grill off. I lost my appetite with two bites. My plate that I ordered never should’ve left the kitchen. This is not Hawaiian at all, it’s disgusting!! If you like black burnt chicken and rubber beef and your stomach is that of a goat that eats cans this might be a good choice for you to dine at. I’m not recommending this restaurant my stomach was upset by the two bites of charcoal chicken and the slice of beef that I couldn’t chew at all and had to spit back out what a blackened taste...
Read moreI've been staying next door for a week. Ready to go home thought I'd try it. Menu said....Standard...two choices of meat. So, I happen to hate dark chicken (poultry). We ordered chicken and beef. Let's see, is beef a meat? Seemed like it. Lady clearly told me $17 when the menu said $13. Huh? It says two meats. But that's actually not true. It's two chickens. Nothing irritates me more than false advertising. I'm sure somewhere it said extra charge, but it was pouring rain. I asked at the window..why four extra dollars. Well, no it's $1.99 extra for "meat". Then why not say $13 for two chickens. Because you want me to think I can get "meat". Not poultry. Is there an extra charge for the "other white meat"? Pork? I don't know and I don't care. I just want someone to read this and realize there is a tiny bit of bait and switch. I'm sure it's in the print somewhere, I think it ought to be on the initial board. Price is for chicken! As for the actual food..well, let's just say I would not come back for the flavor...and I'd advise others to know the real price...
