I've always been a fan of Papa Murphy's when it comes to dinner options. I feel that they have the best pizza for the price you pay. Not to mention but it makes good breakfast/cold pizza too!
This location has one major frustration with it, but it has nothing to do with the store itself. The issue that I've come across is parking. This location is right near the entrance to a shopping plaza for other stores, and a grocery store. If you park in front of the store just know that you risk waiting for a nice person to let you leave after you pick up your order, or you have to be super aggressive in order to get out, or you just have to be patient. You'll have people entering the plaza and exiting so finding that window, depending on the time of day, can be very tricky. Either you have those options, or you have to park away from the store to have an easier time leaving, and I'd recommend that option because I sat waiting for an opportunity on my first visit here for over 20 minutes. Ultimately I made it out because someone was nice. I never had my window.
If you're looking at this place because you've never been here my family favorites are the Cowboy and the Garlic Chicken. My personal favorites are the pepperoni pizza and the garlic chicken. The garlic chicken is delicious and doesn't feel like a really heavy pizza! I could eat it all day long!
The staff at this location are all pretty friendly too. I can't remember a time when they haven't been friendly toward me, or even had the attitude that they didn't want to be there. All the staff appeared to be friends, and helped each other out. Things always seem to just flow here. I'd recommend this place to others. Probably one of the friendliest Papa Murphy's I've been to, and I've been to quite a few up in SLC when I...
Read moreGreat food and good company. Bad experience with some staff tonight though. Asked questions about what a side is based on a sign inside. Was told “anything over there” while the employee pointed in the direction of some frigerated shelves in the front. So I picked up two items and was told no not the desert pizza.which is fine I was just trying to clarify what was actually a side. Then I picked up the only other item that wasn’t cookie dough which was a salad and was told no that costs more. So I said never mind this I’ll just take 1 cookie dough. Then the employee next to the one that was confusing said you can take a second one for free. Not wanting to continue with the crazy I just said, I just had a conversation trying to figure that out. Of course then that employee said while pointing at the same shelves everything in there. I again said what does that mean? Is the dessert pizza a side? The response was a sarcastic smirk and the answer of pizza is not a side. So unsatisfied and feeling somewhat stupid I just took two cookie dough containers paid and left. I saw what looked to be a manager walk up and talk to the two employees as I loaded my car. They pointed to the “shelf” then towards me said a few words then all 3 started laughing. So way to go for poor...
Read moreWe have been going to this Pappa Murphy's for decades. I mean it. I grew up here. The toppings are always fresh and we love how easy it is to get a custom pizza. So my hubby is lactose intolerant and we love coming here to have our pizzas made with no cheese. We then add our own at home. (Craft shredded cheese has no lactose in it for some reason. Or any cheese aged over a year naturally has no lactose) The only thing that bothers us once in a while is when we place an online order and make sure to check the boxes to have them leave off the cheese. When we go to pick up our order, there is the lightest sprinkle of cheese all over it. And it's happened a handful of times now. Odd. But they always fix it with a smile. Over all. Great pizza. Great staff. There's a reason they've been...
