I played it safe and stuck to tacos. I ain't going to lie I don't remember how much I paid for my tacos and a big Jamaica water. I do remember it was less then $20. The tacos are a decent size they aren't the tiny tortillas and they're not the big regular size ones. The side of papas were a bit old you could see it in the texture but the flavor was still ok. The meat had a good flavor to it honestly shocked as how good they were. The salsas were on point they did not disappoint. The pastor had alittle more fatty meat to it than I like it to but hey that's where the flavor is, isn't it? If I'm ever back in the area I will definitely be returning and venturing out to other dishes they have.

Came here with my coworker for a late lunch and it definitely was a good choice! Our waitress was attentive and nice and the food came out in a timely manner. They start you out with a cup of beans and chips and salsa. I found that to be a nice touch for the customers! I ordered the guacamole and chips (this is made to order) and it was delicious! The avocados were fresh and chips nicely fried. For my lunch, I ordered 4 tacos (steak and chicken) and it’s assembled as normal (onions, cilantro) with rice and beans. There’s a choice to add cheese but I didn’t. The sauces available were spicy but tasty. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch here and will return in the future!

Had high expectations of this restaurant after seeing the pictures of food on FB. We skipped breakfast to come here and eat some birria tacos. We also tried the machete. Wasn’t impress. Service was ok. Server didn’t come check on us. We had to keep getting her attention. Birria was not the best, had tried better. The consume was salty and the meat was flavorless. May give it another try but wouldn’t drive all the way to Cedar Hill for it. Definitely would say that customer service needs to improve! Also the Michelada was not even full. The picture is the way the server brought it out.

REAL TIME REVIEW: If I could give 0 stars right now, I would. I have been here several times in the past without incident, and everything was GREAT. Fast forward to today, Nov. 1, 2022 at 4:15 pm. Placed a drink order for a Mexican coke and water with lemon. Drinks come, no lemon. I'm thinking maybe she forgot. Cool. My friend arrives and she asks for water with lemon. Water arrives, and she has one lemon with three limes. I then ask her to bring my lemons, she comes back with two more small containers of LIMES. I'm now wondering why she keeps bringing me all these limes. "Ma'am.....can I get LEMONS?" She then said they don't have any. Could've said that the first time, but ok. I then place my order for the taco plate that comes with three tacos, rice, and beans. I requested two chicken tacos, one birria. She proceeds to tell me that I, a paying customer, could not get two meats. I explained that I never had this issue before, asked for manager (she was the mgr, btw) she just stated that I couldn't get two meats because of (whatever the reason). I then told her that I had no problem paying for it, to which she then said ok🙄

To the owners/operators/managers of LA Antojeria jalisco, please teach your staff that 1.) If you are out of something, just say that instead of trying to make substitutions. Most of us know the difference between lemons and limes. 2.) NEVER EVER tell a paying customer what they can't have as part of their meal. Instead, just let them know that there will be an upcharge. It's that simple. This...

The waiter short guy with braces has the worst attitude. Since the beginning he got all of our order wrong, he seems lost. We asked him if they had coke zero and he said yes. He brought us diet cokes and when we asked to exchange them he told us they don't serve coke zero. (With an attitude even though we asked and he said yes) We asked for Mexican sausage for our plates and he told us they dont have that anymore. Customer next to us arrived after us and guess what they got? Mexican sausage.. I also asked for over-well eggs and he brought over easy. He also forgot my tortillas and since my food was getting cold I had to go ask someone in the cash register. When it was time to pay I gave him zero tip (for obvious reasons) mainly for the horrible customer service. This guy had the audacity to roll his eyes on me. Everyone else seemed very nice but this server needs proper training on the menu and some manners....

I dined in and received chips & Salsa and beans as an appetizer/starter. My primary meal was the Birria lunch special. The salsa tasted very fresh (was a little spicy for my taste but I’m not sure if it was a spice sensitivity on my end or not). The Birria was nice, I would advise that it is not typically served with a consume (as I was told). I asked for some and got it but I wouldn’t be able to accurately tell you whether or not it was a curtesy or extra charge, as I didn’t receive a receipt upon payment I was just told a price. I liked the experience, staff was lovely but my rice & beans tasted like seafood. I’m not sure why but I understand that this establishment sells and prepares seafood as well, it was just an unpleasant...
