Royal Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Cedar Hill

Today was my first and last time purchasing ANYTHING from royals chicken, and I spelled royals with a lowercase r on purpose because that’s what my experience with them was low!!! I placed my order at 6:25 pm, the lady at the window told me my order would be ready in about 20 mins, so I’m thinking it’s actually going to be 20-25 mins, which I had no problem with. So I wait inside. So after not being called by 6:55 pm, which was 30 mins later, I’m starting to lose my patience. By this time 3 other people just walked in. So I get back in line to ask how much longer until my order is ready. When I get to the window and the lady about my food she say, “I think it might be ready, hold on let me check”. I say, “thank you because we coming up on 40 mins”. She walk back to the cooking area and comes back with nothing. And then she starts looking through some completed orders that had been sitting on a table behind her and then, she say, “Oh here it is”!? Didn’t apologize for the inconvenience or nothing. So now I’m thinking to myself “how long has my food been just sitting here”. I get my food and leave. When I get home and open my food, the fries are soggy and drenched in grease. To say I was angry would be a gross understatement. If I could give this review a -1 star review I would. One thing’s for sure, two things for certain, I won’t be back and if anybody ever ask me about royals chicken, I’m going to tell them to avoid that place like...

I been going to this establishment for years service has always been great... But today I don't know what happen. First of all I ordered piece wing and a 6 piece wing with medium season on both. Brandon told me it would be 20 minutes max I got there around 12:10 pm. After the 20mins I go to the window and Brandon said it would be right up ok cool I'm still waiting. I didn't mention that I ordered before 2 other people that came in we all waiting on wings pretty much. Why was I still waiting on my ordered and they'll was ready before minds. So after that I go to the windows again to asked Brandon about my order he said it's coming up waited a few more minutes because he was two other customers orders before I got mines. Mind you now it's a lil after 1pm. The food was good but I did asked for medium seasoning which I did not get. Then to add insult to me he said your said #3. When me and the other customers had already dicuss I ordered before them . I hate leaving these kind of reviews but I was disappointed...

We recently downloaded the 2good2go app. Which as previously stated, you purchase a surprise bag of food for about $5-$6. We should have taken it as a sign when we tried to order three days in a row. But they were advertised as open but were closed. I wish I would have read the reviews first bc I would have never! Today is Tuesday so their special is a leg and thigh for $2.79. Ok. So we pay for the food on the app which is supposed to be a $12 value at least. So granted the food was fresh and it was sprinkled with a heavy seasoning. But the sad part is. I got a leg and thigh with maybe ten fries. So they gave me $3 worth of food. And I paid $6 on the app. I was better off just ordering the daily special. They know what they are doing. They are making money from the 2good2go app and giving bare minimum. The food was mediocre and I wouldn’t give them any of my money. If you search 2good2go on TikTok.
