Today was my first & last visit to this establishment. The customer service was rude and unprofessional. We ordered 2 piece white, all wings and a 3 piece dark, 1 leg & 2 thighs. When we got our order we stayed at the window in line to check for accuracy, which was good that we did, we were missing one thigh. When we tapped our horn to get someone inside the restaurantās attention the door opens and without any acknowledgment my husbands informs the female that we had an incomplete order, a thigh is missing. The female yells to the other employee they said they missing a thigh. The other employee yells whatās in their other box, other female employee proceeds to ask, we responded 2 wings as we showed her the inside of our box. The woman throws a thigh in a box and hands it to us without an apology or anything. I was applauded by their behaviors and lack of empathy, common courtesy and poor customer service. I kindly said, so we donāt get an apology or anything. The female at the window said, you fine. And proceeded to close the window. Just rude. Now, I should have asked for a full refund based on lack of customer service skills and limited ability to count to 3. Those were the warning signs that we did not heed to⦠things turned worse as we bit into the freshly cooked greasy chicken. The first bite I know my blood pressure flew up like a rocket. The level of salt on that bird was like Lotās wife made it and seasoned it with her fingers. I tried to remove the skin to consume it but it was as if the meat was soaked to the bone and washed in the Atlantic Ocean then basted in pure table salt. My husband and I both grabbed our water bottles to rinse the taste from our mouths. We both decided to take the lost and throw the chicken away. We may have consumed 2 bites which were two bites too many because the next hour the party moved to the bathroom with stomach aches and diarrhea. It was horrible. No problem Iām just stopping by baby napping federal holiday why not. I also ordered 6 gizzards and this is what I got , bad Food Iām not sure what was in that gizzard. I went back around 11pm for a refund, I handed the manger( whom ever answered the door)my receipt and card he says receipt not needed cause he would have to give a full refund for an order thatās less than $9. Iām like thatās cool , he says i canāt do that .now whatās wrong with giving a customer a full refund that had to return to your store cause you gave them bad food. I left with only money for the gizzards which I only went for anyway. He mentioned full refund thatās heās not allowed to honor.. smh business need to do better. I placed my order, paid for my meal, and given a receipt for my debit card transaction and was asked to pull forward and my food would be brought out to the car. After a few minutes, the food was brought out, and on the bag was the itemized receipt showing what was purchased and the total cost (including tax). As we drove off, my wife noticed that the two receipts had different amounts. I was charged at the window $33.40. The total cost reflected on the itemized receipt was $31.68. Not a huge deal, just questionable. I've called numerous times with no answer. I've reached out to the corporate office with no response. Again, not a huge difference.
