My recent visit to Cava in Cedar Park, Texas left me with an incredible dining experience that I simply must share. From the moment we stepped into this charming Greek restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and an inviting ambiance that set the stage for a truly memorable evening.
To start off our culinary adventure, we decided to indulge in a Greek salad. As soon as the vibrant plate arrived, it was evident that Cava takes great pride in sourcing the freshest ingredients. The salad was a work of art, featuring crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, crunchy cucumbers, and tangy Kalamata olives, all beautifully adorned with a generous sprinkling of feta cheese. The flavors harmonized perfectly, and each bite was a refreshing explosion of Mediterranean goodness. The homemade dressing was a delightful balance of tangy and savory, tying the entire salad together into a symphony of taste.
Beyond the exceptional food, the service at Cava was exemplary. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. They graciously accommodated our dietary preferences and provided insightful recommendations to ensure we made the most of our dining experience. Their attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel like honored guests.
The ambiance of Cava further elevated our evening. The restaurant's interior was tastefully decorated, featuring a blend of modern and rustic elements that exuded an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. Soft lighting and cozy seating arrangements created a space where we could relax and enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. It was evident that Cava values creating a memorable dining environment, and they certainly succeeded in doing so.
In addition to the outstanding Greek salad, Cava's menu boasted an array of enticing options, ranging from classic Greek dishes to modern interpretations of Mediterranean cuisine. The careful balance of flavors, textures, and presentation demonstrated the culinary expertise and creativity of the kitchen team. It is clear that Cava is committed to offering a diverse and satisfying dining experience for all palates.
Overall, my visit to Cava in Cedar Park, Texas was an absolute delight. The Greek salad was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and authenticity, while the exceptional service and inviting ambiance added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening. Whether you are a fan of Greek cuisine or simply appreciate outstanding food and hospitality, Cava is a culinary gem that should not be missed. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an extraordinary...
Read moreThree star review - food is a four, service is a three, facilities is a two.
We've been going to this Cava location since their opening. The food is great for a quick fix of Mediterranean style yummy. Pick your base, pick your protein, pick your add ons. Downside are the drinks as they're serving cheap non-brand cola from a cheap and yucky fountain dispenser. Get a modern Coke dispenser please. Four stars.
The service behind the counter is average at best. There's a real lack of product knowledge which you would expect when first opened but that was a year ago. I've rarely seen the same person twice. There are some good ones but most staff move like a deer in headlights and there's nobody taking care of the dining room or the drinks. Three stars.
The facilities are a mess, literally. There's not enough table room so the table turnover is high without a dedicated person walking the floor to keep it clean. Lunch and weekends typically the line is long and out the door or wrapped around the back dining area. I don't know what it is about Mediterranean food but folks can't seem to figure out how to order it so each order takes an exasperated long time. Then, because of the long lines and lack of table space half the group will sit at a table and wait which consumes tables with nobody actually eating so that when you do finally get your food there's nowhere to sit. One day I watched a husband and wife come in, he had his own lunch and personal yeti's for drinks and he grabbed the last open table. The wife goes through the line while he ate. 25 minutes later she finally gets her food and he's done but she now sits at the table and eats her food and drinks from her personal yeti. Another time we were there we watched someone get food off the to go cart that obviously wasn't theirs and sits down at a table. A few minutes later a manager came over and the person ran out the building. And then on top of that, the clients drawn appear to be those that meet up for lunch to gossip. Almost every time there could be tables whereby folks are done eating but they want to gossip for another 30. That leaves those who've just been served without a seat and having to bag their food up to go. It's a real lack of management, design, and folks who think their privileged... Two stars.
With the right management it could be a five star review, but as is...
Read moreI love CAVA! I tried their Domain location a couple of times, and I often go out of my way to dine at the Congress Ave location in Austin after a nice dip in Barton Springs (in fact I'm typing this review while sitting in that same CAVA right now!). I actually suggested to the employees to pitch it to their management that CAVA needs to come to Cedar Park or Leander.
Whether or not my suggestion had anything to with it, you can imagine my excitement a week ago when I noticed the CAVA sign where Zoe's Kitchen was on the way to Costco's. I was thinking, "Yes! They did it! YES!" I've only been to Zoe's one or two times and I didn't personally think much of it (but my condolences go to anyone who misses it already!), so I am most grateful for this change.
They had a grand opening event on 9/2 where everyone who signed up got a free meal! How generous is that, they really hooked Cedar Park up! You KNOW I was there, loving every bite!
But enough of the hype, what is CAVA actually all about? Well to put it simply (and perhaps crudely, although I for one am a Chipotle lover as well), they are the Chipotle of Mediterranean food. So now our Chipotle right near by has some fierce competition!
CAVA is for anyone who enjoys vibrant meals bursting with intense flavor. Sweet, spicy, tangy, they got you covered! They're vegetarian and vegan friendly too! You definitely get a good bargain with them.
I've eaten at CAVA quite a few times and not once have I been disappointed. I doubt you will be either, so give them a try of you're even THINKING about it!
But beware the CAVA app. I've not used it myself yet, but from what I've heard it's a very user-unfriendly experience at this time.
Also note that this new location has been crazy popular already, like maybe even more than the Chipotle near by, so if you can, come at...
