I visited your Cedar Park location on Sunday, November 9th, and had an unpleasant experience that I believe deserves management’s attention.
When I walked in, a young man came to the register but did not greet me or ask for my order. After several seconds of silence, I asked if he was ready to take my order. He responded that he had already asked me what I wanted — which was simply untrue.
I told him I wanted a Peanut Butter Cup with whey protein, but his tone and attitude were so dismissive that I decided to leave instead of completing the purchase. As I was walking out, he said “have a nice day” in a sarcastic tone, clearly aware I was leaving because of poor service. Rather than handle the situation professionally, he chose to be rude and condescending.
I asked for his name and told him I would be making a complaint. He insisted that he had greeted me — another false statement — and, when asked again, identified himself as Matthew.
A few minutes later, I called the store to speak with a manager. Matthew answered again and claimed that he was the store manager. When I asked for his supervisor’s name, he told me he had no supervisor and that he was his own supervisor.
Basic customer service should include greeting the customer and asking for their order — very simple expectations for anyone working in food service. For whatever reason, Matthew does not seem to understand or value that...
Read moreStopped in trying to get a healthy meal (smoothie), but by the looks of the pregnant lady standing in line they were moving rather slow. I wasn't in much of a rush, but needless to say it took about 20+ minutes to get my order. :/ I came in with the mindset for a smoothie, but there was a check in coupon where you get a discount with a sandwich smoothie combo. So I got the avocadolada ( I think I spelled that right) and the baja chicken wrap. Let me also add that when they take your order they get your name to call out when your meal is ready. So why when they called my "very unique name" a Hispanic woman runs up and grabs my order? O_o I watched her as I approached the counter & asked them to repeat the name just called, and clearly it was mine. So I told they might want to convey that to her because it seems like she clearly forgot hers. Smh. They went to her and said that the name of the drink was for and took it back, and she did not even argue. So she was fully aware of what she did. How crazy is that?! I didn't think that I'd have to fight somebody when I just cleaned rolled in to get a smoothie. People are so ridiculous these days! The guy apologized, and no my smoothie had not been sipped on by the woman, I made sure of that. But talk about a very stressful environment. In a nutshell I think that might be my last visit. I like to avoid potential collisional matters...
Read moreI went to this place completely serendipitously. I actually walked into Firehouse, which was right next door, resigned to the fact that there were no decent sandwich-type places around and this was what I was left with. After awkwardly staring at the menu for a full minute, trying not to make eye contact with the guy behind the counter after first telling him I needed a sec, I just walked out.
I remembered that on my way into Firehouse, I’d noticed the pictures in the windows of the place next door, TSC, and stopping for a second, probably drooling, but then just going with my original plan (I’d never been there and didn’t know the customs and for an introvert, venturing inside is just not happening). But I was so hungry, and so annoyed, that survival trumped psychology and I said ef it. Everyone was really nice, I ordered the Cuban and the chicken bacon ranch. Both were indescribably good. Then the strawb/kiwi smoothie, which, again was phenomenal. Give this place some business. It’s worth it. AND they give away apples, oranges or bananas (your choice) with...
