I'm giving 5 stars because the guy that helped me had such a great attitude & handled the problem wonderfully! My receipt said the employee was "Daniel" but i had specifically asked his name & i feel certain he said his name was Freddy. Anyway i was there Friday June 10 appx 6pm. I could tell Freddy had a good attitude when i first walked in! Nothing special just that he seemed relaxed friendly & conscientious when i ordered. So i ordered a giant Smoked Turkey (which i always order at any Schlotzskys i visit). So i got my order & left. But fortunately i decided to start eating half of it in the parking lot before i headed back home to Dallas. When i took it out of the bag & looked i was horrified to see lots of prominent pieces of red onions! I'm 58 & have badly hated onions all my life! So i immediately went back. At first i thought i was at fault for not saying no onions. So i went in & spoke to Freddy & said i was sorry i didnt say no onions but could they make a new one for me anyway? He immediately said sure he would & he acted happy to do it. But then he looked closely at my receipt & said "oh, you ordered a smoked turkey didnt you??" I said yes & he immediately replied "oh wow the smoked turkey isn't supposed to habe onions anyway so this was OUR fault not yours!". So haha, i said "ok so thats why i forgot to say no onions!💡". Anyway, Freddy simply acted like he was totally happy to help & make it right & said no worries that they'd quickly make a new one for me. They did & it was a very quick wait & another girl brought it out to me & she also ok as well. So Freddy impressed me ALOT with his attitude & that he went out of his way to make a point of saying it was their own fault! So i wanted to tell him attitude is everything & that he impressed me! So of course he responded very friendly to that too & so i asked his name & he asked mine too. So i need to tell Freddy's boss how great he is & that he should get a pay raise!👍 He's really great for Schlotzskys! I'll be sure to come back to this Schlotzskys next time i'm in Austin & hope i see...
Read moreI could tell the minute I pulled up to the drive thru this was going to be a bad experience. This is the first time I've gotten bad service and bad quality of food from this location. The girl that took my order could not be any more obvious that she did not want to be there. I politely made my order. When I asked for a kids meal cheese pizza she said "we can't do that right now." No other explanation, so I asked if they could do a grilled cheese and she confirmed that they could. I also asked for my sandwich with no lettuce, attached is a picture of my sandwich, they forgot the no lettuce part and also the toasting of the sandwich. It was really dry and bland tasting. I checked my order before I left and noticed they did not give me a drink or side with my kids meal. I pulled in to park and walked in the restaurant. The unpleasant young lady who did not want to be there came to the counter. I told her I didn't get a drink or side with my kids meal. She said "You didn't ask for a drink and a side!" I told her, "No, you didn't ask." I asked for a coke and a cookie. She begrudgingly got both for me and I was on my way. I make this review because this is not the level of service anyone should come to expect from this establishment or any for that matter. This girl simply did not want to be there and it showed with her service and general attitude. This is not the right direction, we as a society, should be going and accepting because of a "workforce shortage". Take pride in your work and who you're working for and...
Read moreMenu (4/5) Our recent visit to Schlotzsky's in Cedar Park was a pleasant and satisfying experience that met our expectations. We ordered the California Chicken Avocado Flat, the Chicken Avocado Salad, and a Kids' Pizza, and each dish delivered on taste and quality. The California Chicken Avocado Flat was a delightful blend of flavors, with tender chicken and creamy avocado. The Chicken Avocado Salad was equally impressive, with its generous portion of chicken and vibrant salad greens. The Kids' Pizza was simple.
Service (4/5): The service at Schlotzsky's was efficient and friendly. Our orders were taken promptly, and the staff was attentive to our needs. Our meals were prepared in a timely manner, allowing us to enjoy our dining experience without unnecessary delays.
