Dunkin' — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

The woman who takes me quite often on my med. rides. Treated me to breakfast at Dunkin Donuts. She has done this quite a few times. really love this woman. She has also spoiled me big time to taking me for breakfast or if I need something she will always take me to where I have to go. She is just a beautiful person! My whole purpose for saying this is to say this. If you have never had something to eat breakfast wise you have to go there one day and order a egg 🥐 with egg on it. and oh my gosh they are to kill for!! They soak their bacon in syrup overnight and then put it on your egg croissant and she always orders a Xtra order of bacon for our sandwiches. Very addictive! I promise you will be hooked! Now I'm wanting one lol!!! Well enough of that ppl. Got to make a couple important phone calls. Everyone enjoy the rest of your evening!!! I'm going thru some serious issues. One is my cancer Dr's. nurse called me and said Dr. Sanchez wants to see me asap. Well I have been very scared just knowing it's bad news so I have been avoiding him. I have been coming to the edgewood rd dunkin’ donuts semi consistently for the last 3 years, (about 2-3 time a week). However, this will all be coming to a sad ending because of a new manager named nikki. As I was in the store, nikki was working with 2 other girls and seemed to just be joking around with eachother more than them being in an actual work environment?? All the while talking about inappropriate workplace conversations such as (taking molly, and smoking marijuana. Second, the person that was in front of me in line to order inside had commented to me on how rude she was taking his order, which is exactly the same treatment i had received. I don’t know if this nikki girl has not been trained before or if she is just choosing to be a disrespectful person, but she is one person i know i would never hire in a business setting, especially one where customer service is...

I always come to this location when I don’t go to my usual Coralville location.. so I’m a normal spending customer for Dunkin’s ! Today I had the worse experience and a very dismissive lady on headset .. I’m already having a bad morning due to a loss I just had. And I was asking did she have what I ordered and she was just very rude and they remember me because I stated “is you okay?” I’m a general manager so I know what customer service suppose to be like. I got to the window and look about 4 people had on headsets but one was talking and her face expression was even rude as if she didn’t want to be there dealing w guest.
