I had ordered one of their special combos with a sandwich and a pizza. The pizza was fine and came as ordered. However, when ordering the sandwich online, I had marked it not to include onions and peppers. When I received the order, it was marked correctly , however the sandwich had peppers and onions on it. I immediately called the store, and spoke with Darrell. I explained him the situation and that I did not get what I ordered. He wanted the phone number to look up the order. I was at a business and he couldn't find the order with the number I provided. I gave him the order number I received via the email confirmation and what was on the box I had in my hand. He still was not able to find it. I could hear several people talking in the background. I verified the number I called matched the one that was on the website. For extra measure, I asked him to hold so I could grab the receipt to verify any store information on it. When I cam back he started repeating what I had orders...apparently he had found the order.
He started saying that on my next order I can get a credit. I had ordered the pizza for a couple of people and the sandwich for myself. Was I suppose to just not have something to eat? There was no apology or asking what I would like done. I ultimately told him that I didn't want the credit, I wanted the sandwich. He put me on hold so he could check with the manager to see what they could do and came back a few minutes later and began getting my phone information again so he could look up and send the order. It took several minutes for them to promise the order with a large amount of dead air--him not saying anything on the phone and me wondering if he was still on the line. He eventually came back on the line and the order had been placed. I asked him how long before the order would arrive and he said about 36 minutes. My original order was confirmed via email at 3:42pm and I received the final delivery (with the corrected sandwich) at approximately 5:10pm. That is a terrible amount of time to wait without any apology or even an offer of compensation.
Dominos--try harder please, deliver on customer service when there are mistakes. I know mistakes happen, it is how you deal with them when they occur that makes your customers take...
Read moreTraveler, visiting friends. As a former team member, I’m appalled at the level of “service” experienced at this location. I was not the paying party, just the party consuming the order! Order placed for a single, large, 2 topping, hand tossed pizza right at 7pm. Delivery time quoted at 1-2 hours. Okay, fine, roads are bad, understandable. At 2 hours though, the paying party called the store to ask what happened. They are told the pizza was delivered an hour and a half ago. -What?! Delivered where? Not here! Not only that, but the store then says, we are incorrect and we placed the order at 6pm, not 7pm. Order delivered at 7:30pm. It’s our fault because we waited 3 hours to call! -What?! So not only do they refuse a refund, but we have to wait an additional half an hour for a pizza. The pizza we ordered, now, two and a half hours ago! Look, if you mess up, admit it. People are way less likely to be this upset. This is not in any way corporate policy. In no way, was any of how this was handled, how Dominos encourages it’s locations to conduct business. I don’t know this market, but I’m willing to bet it is not in the top sales. Mind you, this poor delivery driver delivered to a very nice hotel a would have walked away with a very nice tip. However, after 2.5 hours, a snotty manager pointing the finger at the customer… no. I have no way of knowing if they were the driver that screwed up the first attempt. I have to assume yes, because that’s how it goes. You take the remake runs if you took them the first time. Get your pepperonis in order Centennial Dominos! Learn what accountability means. Driver tracker. It’s a thing. Think about using it… maybe..? A customer at a nice hotel says they didn’t get their single large pizza, it is not because they didn’t order enough. They didn’t get their order! Listen....
Read moreI have ordered from this location on various occasions. I love dominoes, but unfortunately, I have never seen such an inconsistent and irresponsible location before.
I have had orders made completely wrong before, and when I called and spoke with a manager they said my next pizza order would be complimentary. When I ordered again ad called the store (as instructed) they had no record of this call, even after I used the managers specific name.
Nearly every order I have made from this store (10+) has forgotten sauces I have paid for. The manager says that they will document or send a driver back out. The driver never shows up, and it is never documented when I call the next order.
A couple of months later (most recently) I made a large order over $40. The order took more than 2 hours to be delivered and I had to walk the driver through the area which is less than 2 miles away. The hilarious part is that the app said the food was delivered after 30 minutes, when it clearly was not. He told me he was from a completely different store, so I understood. He also called his manager (same one) and asked if he could give it to me for free for the hassle. When the driver got to my location, he collected the money and left. I opened the food, it was cold, stale, and half of it was prepared incorrectly.
I called the store, no answer after an 18-minute hold (this was after 8:00 PM) so I hung up. I proceeded to post feedback on the app, but still have not heard anything.
I would not recommend this location at all. Maybe I just have bad luck, or maybe it is bad management/training. Who knows.
Moral of the story, it took me over 10 orders from this location to learn my lesson. Do not waste your money on this store, try a...
