I usually order lunch from QDOBA through Uber Eats because of my work schedule, but today I had extra time and decided to visit the location in person. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant.
I ordered a bowl with a crispy shell and asked the employee preparing my food if I could have my queso on the side in a larger container, as it makes it easier for me to dip my chips. She kindly agreed without hesitation. However, when I got to the payment counter, what seemed to be either the manager or a trainer started publicly correcting the employee for accommodating my request.
I tried to explain that I was the one who asked for the change and that I always receive it this way when ordering online. Instead of listening, this person proceeded to raise their voice at me, dismissing my explanation and rudely stating that " I don’t care how other stores do it. Im just telling you what the deal is here"
I was shocked and offended by the way I was treated—not only as a customer but also by how they embarrassed their employee in front of a line of about six other customers. Correcting staff should be done in private, not in front of customers. The entire situation made me feel extremely uncomfortable and reconsider buying food from this location in the future.
QDOBA should seriously consider providing proper customer service training for this manager. No one should be treated this way, whether they are a paying customer or an employee simply trying to do their job.
Would I return? I’m...
Read moreWould have been zero for service and zero for atmosphere. We just left here and as a general manager of a different fast food restaurant, I teach my employees that friendliness is key. "Hi how are, be with you in just a second let me get these online orders out real quick" goes a very long way with customers. There was no greeting, none of the workers were smiling even. I stopped timing at 5 minutes we were next in line before someone even acknowledged that we were there. Most people understand its lunch time, we know you're busy so we have more patience. There was quite literally ZERO personality in any of the people working. No one was talking, no one was friendly. Im assuming it was the manager who rang us up yelled at me, put her hand up and said WAIT! As I pulled my phone out to scan my app. This is the 3rd time I've come to this location and been treated poorly. Also, why did the manager (african american older lady) not have a hair net or hat on? Everyone else did. I know that's an ecosure violation. Would have been fine if her hair was pulled back even smh. It literally gave the feeling that the workers working for her are being held hostage and treated so so poorly. I mean, if you treat customers like that, how do you treat your employees? The one on the other side of arapahoe and Quebec is sooo much better, friendlier than this one. I'll gladly drive over there and will never be back to this one. The only plus is the...
Read moreThis location is the worst Qdoba location I've ever been to. I put an order in at the arapahoe location off arapahoe and parker thinking it was the arapahoe and lima location. I put my order in for 11:30 and when I got there my order wasn't ready. I told them my name and that I had put my order in at 11:30. I waited there for half an hour before getting really upset and asking where my order was because I had to get back to work and that was the whole reason why I put in my order ahead of time to begin with. The manager Karen started yelling as well as another associate that I needed to wait and it was going to be ready and kept saying it over and over despite me saying that I had put my order in at 11:30 and it had been half an hour of waiting. They never checked to see if my name was in the system nor did they bother following up with me while I was waiting and the whole ordeal could have been avoided from the get go if they just saw my name wasn't even in the system. They mixed me up with someone else and said my food was ready when it wasn't even my food because they never cared to remember my name after telling them more than 3 times. I've never experienced such unprofessional disgusting behavior. I will be contacting the general manager Zach so he is aware of the trashy behavior that goes on and horrible...
