Had Five Guys today at the Centerville store on Wilmington Pike. I'd heard they now had Patty Melts on the menu so we decided to go in and give it a go. It had been a while since I'd been in a Five Guys, but its always been a treat. The store was very clean, and the attendant who helped us with ordering was really pleasant. I ordered my Patty Melt, added grilled onions and grilled green peppers, because that just sounded delish. My husband and I split a regular Cajun fry, and He got a Bacon Cheeseburger plain. Added two drinks, everything came out to about $40, which is fair for Five Guys, I mean you know this coming in.
My sandwich was so good, the cheese was extra melty, oozy and delicious and they got those onions and peppers just perfect. While it wasn't a traditional Patty Melt, it was really darned good. I only ate half because I got full on all of those fries. We always regret getting the regular size, there is so much there! I actually have some in my bag that I took home, I swear next time, get the small, its enough for two.
My husband's sandwich was perfect of course. He ate every last bite. The store had freestyle coke machines which I really appreciate. I love being able to get Mello Yello Zero in cherry and limeade, its the best! Thanks Five Guys for a...
Read moreIt's Five Guys, so you know what you're getting and the food is always consistent. The employees are are very friendly and helpful but we usually order online and then get there about 5-10 minutes after the time it's supposed to be ready, even then I have to wait. It's not during rush hours either. I'll get there check in then they'll say it's in the works. Then I'll watch people walk in, place their orders at the counter for the same thing or even more involved orders and their food will come up first. That's happened three separate times, I don't think that they're doing it intentionally, instead, I think they just might have their workflow through off to prioritize gifts on site versus guests ordering online. That's about the only critique or constructive criticism I could give is to follow the lead of the Chipotles of the world and have a separate station and dedicated crew member to support online orders to ensure timely fulfillment. Other than that, great job leather burgers greasy delicious...
Read moreClassic Five Guys experience but it’s new, shiny, and clean! Price was a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Place looks great, workers are nice and to the point, and the food tasted really good. My burger was cooked great and assembled with care so that it didn’t turn into a mess by the time I was done. Only reason I am giving the food a 4/5 is the FRIES WERE INDEED VERY SALTY. I love salt but this was on the edge of too much for me. That being said, the fries were cooked perfect with a nice crispy golden outside and mushy inside. They just gotta chill out a little with the salt. Oh and I love that Five Guys has stuck with the Coke Freestyle machines. It adds a nice fun touch to...
