Utterly disappointing experience. I ordered a small vanilla soft serve in a cone with fruity pebbles (note: it did not say âroundsâ on the kiosk), and my friend ordered the affogato matcha. I initially really wanted the cup bingsoo, but could not justify paying $12 for a cup (seriously, in this economy) and went with the soft serve instead. The soft serve was grainy and had a weird texture (which you can see on camera), and started melting immediately. I was also given fruit loops (see note above) instead of fruity pebbles. I accepted that, but it had barely any toppings, since the owner said they couldnât do anything about it because I ordered it in a cone. Mind you, I paid an extra $0.25 for a topping⌠so, I said, âThatâs it?â and asked for a cup, which had barely anything in it, and he said I can âdipâ my cone in⌠dip it in what, sir?? My friend said his order was âgoodâ, but would rate it a 3/10 due to the lack of portion compared to what was on the kiosk, ESPECIALLY for the price. We ultimately felt scammed and will not be returning again. Also, there are no trash cans inside? It was not very clear where to put our trash/dishware when we were done. EDIT: Iâve been looking through past reviews to see how management has responded to complaints. Attached is a response that is clearly copied and pasted, pay attention to the âreach out to us directly at [Phone number or email address]â⌠really? You couldnât have bothered to at least fill it in? I would expect at least a sincere, personalized response rather than something they found from AI or online. Itâs very clear they do not know how to...
Read moreI absolutely do not recommend Bdan due to false advertisement and extremely poor service. During my visit today, I experienced 3 significant issues within just ~10 minutes:
Their sign outside advertised "Taiyaki Ice Cream," but it was not available because the machine had not arrived from Japan yet, as per one of the female employees' explanation. I decided to give Bdan another chance and ordered a "Ube Milk Tea" through their kiosk. However, the female employee came up to inform me that it was also not available and asked me to choose a different Milk Tea. I asked her for other options and settled for their Bdan Milk Tea. She then told me the owner required an extra $2 for the Bdan Milk Tea. I refused and requested a refund instead.
The owner finally came to the front and was extremely unfriendly. Because he did not know how to issue a refund, he unwillingly offered to make the Bdan Milk Tea for me, but I declined.
With so many other wonderful cafes and tea shops in the area, I'd rather show my support elsewhere. Avoid Bdan if you're looking for a pleasant experience and excellent...
