I spent about 100+ here since I have been looking for the best Korean chicken in this area. I give this place bonus point for having chicken feet. 3.4/5 overall.
Fries: It was still crunchy when it came in. It tasted like any fries. Nothing special
So DDhuk so DDhuk: I ordered the garlic soy and spicy version. The rice cake and sausage were good together. I Like that this place was not too sweet. I’ve noticed some places try to Americanize their food and I like that this places didn’t. The flavor was just the right amount of balance.
Supreme Chicken: This was not crunchy. I usually expect Korean chicken to be crunchy. Maybe it might have been that it was delivered but still expected some crunch in it. The flavor was good. Again I love that it wasn’t too sweet. Just right
Fried Gizzard: Not very flavorful. I will say the batter can be better. Again not enough crunch. Would have expected the batter to have a crunch combined with chewiness of the gizzard.
Soy garlic half and half Some parts of the chicken was dry. Would have expected more juiciness from the chicken. But it was coated with a lot of flavor. The flavor was a little on the sweeter side for my palette.
Hot spicy half and half This was the best one. I love that it had a kick but also the flavor was balance. It tasted really old especially with the radish. Best radish I’ve had at a place and I usually don’t like radish. This radish had a hint of tartness and it balanced well with the spicy chicken.
Chicken feet I was happy to see this one the menu. Very delicious! The flavor was savory with a kick!
Overall i will say this is one of the best Korean chicken in the area. I do recommend anyone to get. The most authentic flavor. The downside is that I expect the chicken to be more crunchy! The batter needs to...
Read moreCame here a few times in the past. While I understand this isn’t a fancy place where good service is expected, I was shocked by our recent experience. Came here a day ago with my fiancé. The lady work at the counter on 6/22/25 was so unfriendly (which normally isn’t a huge deal for us) but she was very rude towards us and treated Korean customers significantly better. We were shocked by the drastic quality of service.
Let’s start with the beginning, never offered drinks or water, we had to ask for it after we already ordered food. We spent about 45 mins - 1hr total dinning in and I believe she only spoke to us once or twice. As in every time we talk or ask for stuff, she just walk away, not even a nod or audible “okay”. When she put food down, also no words, just walk away.
This was the kicker, we asked for water refill towards the end of the meal. Again, did not even reply, she turned around and SIGHED loudly. My partner was upset the entire time at her attitude but we didn’t say anything as I tried to be understanding, maybe she was having a bad day, maybe wasn’t feeling well but she proved me wrong. Every time she interacted with Korean customers, she would talk in a cute high pitch voice, laugh with them, thank them as they leave, enthusiastically explain the menu and so on. While we get no eye contact, no talking, and sighing.
The whole interaction felt very racist and discriminatory. It’s a shame because we do enjoy the food here but this experience left us uncomfortable about...
Read more역시 처갓집 치킨이 최고! 치킨맛 만점, 가성비 만점 , 서비스 만점!! It's awesome to see my favorite Korean fried chicken chain in the states. The batter is light and crispy and the meat is tender and juicy. The meat was cooked perfectly. Seasoning's just right, though the store offers a little plate of seasoning salt 맛소금 on the side for folks who want a little extra kick. Domestic and import beers available, with draft Sapporo served in ice cold mugs. The 치킨무 ( sweet picked korean radish) is crunchy and fresh! We could see the chefs chopping them up in the kitchen).
Excellent service! The staff is bilingual in Korean and English, and will be happy to answer any questions. I recommend getting the regular fried chicken w sauce on the side for...
