Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Chambersburg — Hotel in Chambersburg

The hotel is remodeled, yet here are some things to consider. The mattress was a king and I must say we could feel and hear the springs inside the mattress, super uncomfortable. No duvet ,thin top blanket. Air conditioning made very loud annoying clanking sounds when cycling through the process. Telephone bedside didn't work whatsoever. No dial tone ect. Breakfast only 6 until 9 am. Wifi ......haha. Huge flagged image when attempting to access wifi, we received a enormous ⚠️ that wifi certificate doesn't belong to the hotel on and on. So we had zero service in our room.

Uncomfortable stay. This is a pass through one night hotel. Also appears the hotel has resident that are long extended stays standing around in white wofe beater t-shirts chain smoking. I would not return to this hotel for future stays.

Also there was a bag of trash on the top of the cabinet, and a cat toy behind my night stand. No...

We stayed here for two nights. The gentleman at the front desk was great, very knowledgeable and gave us all the information we needed. Check-in process was super easy. Our room was very clean and everything looked brand new. You can easily cook a meal in your room if you're staying here for an extended period. Our Queen room had a large fridge/freezer, a cook top, microwave and a dishwasher. The bathroom had a nice, large shower and was super clean as well. A/C worked great, bed was comfy, and the balcony was a nice surprise. One of the biggest TV's I've ever seen in a hotel with access to Netflix, Prime Video, Tubi, and a bunch of other stuff On Demand. The location is fantastic and close to everything you could need. The price for the quality of this place...

I will book again. I walked in and noticed that instead of getting the balcony the room I booked said was there, this room was a 2 room suite. Great for a family of 4. The kids hung out in one room and we in the other. No fighting over the tv, since each room has their own tv.

Staff was very nice and quick to respond to issues.

The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast. Next door is a great restaurant that has very reasonably prices.

Stayed there again 10/23/25-10/26/25. Happy again. This time I did get what I booked, a 2 room suite with a balcony. It was cold to sit at the balcony, but looking out to the stream was nice, especially with the lights they have shining on it. We did expect that since the balcony faces a road.
