Came to this hotel for a 2 week long work training trip. Did not expect much, but my expectations were BLOWN out of the water with the amazing experience I had here.
I had never visited Georgia before, being from NYC, so the sunny warm weather was a welcomed sight and experience during my late January-early February stay.
Every worker, server, and hotel staff met me with nothing but smiles and warmth and genuine interest in how my stay was going and if they could make it even better.
The hotel provided for our work group a free breakfast buffet EVERY DAY, even weekends. As well as a farewell party at their restaurant, complete with a DJ, fully stocked bar, karaoke, and dance spaces.
The beds were soft and enjoyable, and the rooms were spacious with mini fridges, keurig coffee/tea makers, microwave, and a bathroom with a shower and included a decent hairdryer.
Even before I checked in, my mother joining me was a last-minute decision, so I called to hopefully change my original accommodation. I was met with nothing but a helpful and polite conversation. They changed my original reservation from a solo king bed to a double queen room at NO extra cost or any change to my initial reservation that was covered by my work. (I was so thankful because that would've been a LOT of extra paperwork on my end)
The location was convenient as it was short cab rides to local malls and other attractions. I found it easy to find good food and fun things to do on the weekends and after training hours.
Their hotel pool is in amazing condition as well, located in a heated room. It was clean and sanitized and fun to soak in every time I visited it. There are also washing machines and a medium-sized gym on the first floor!
All in all, it was an incredible experience. If I'm ever back in Atlanta for fun or work again, I will definitely be back at Spice and Sky!
Thank you to everyone who made our work stay so enjoyable. We all really...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant Spice & Sky located within the Holiday Inn, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with both the quality of the food and the exceptional management.
From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, and it was clear that they were passionate about creating an enjoyable dining experience for their guests. The menu offered a variety of options, ranging from classic comfort food to more adventurous dishes, all of which were presented beautifully and tasted even better than they looked.
I opted for the grilled salmon with a side of roasted vegetables, and I must say, it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The salmon was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and moist, flaky flesh. The roasted vegetables were equally delicious, with just the right amount of seasoning to enhance their natural flavors.
But what truly set this restaurant apart was the management. Throughout my meal, the manager was visible, checking in with guests and ensuring that everything was running smoothly. Despite being a busy night, the service was prompt and attentive, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that each guest was satisfied.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal with exceptional service. The food is top-notch, and the management truly cares about their guests' experience. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by the Holiday Inn restaurant - you won't be...
Read moreI wish I could give it a Zero. But not because of the ambiance or the staff (both were perfect) but because my whole group has food poisoning. We are from out of town, and we had been staying there 8 days. I only 2 nights and another friend only 2 nights, the others live in Atlanta. We ordered the chicken each of us in different styles. Our friend immediately started throwing up maybe 10 min after eating her chicken wings then our other friends one by one after we finished our food and started our game night on the roof, we started getting sick, by the morning we were all throwing up and using the bathroom violently.
They sent us to the hospital and didn't offer anything but a refund for one night. The Manager wouldn't even offer anything until we got diagnosed from the er dr. Once being in the er ALL day (on our friend's birthday) they offered food vouchers for the SAME HOTEL totaling each person would get $50 but after both nights of roof top dinner we spent AT LEAST $800 in which they didn't offer any of that back at all.
That was Wednesday night here we are Sunday evening and none of us can keep anything down. We had to use our own insurance for our visit (out of state) and pay OUT OF POCKET for medication which totaled up to be around $280, which none of that was offered back or as room credit or ANYTHING! The front desk manager DID NOT CARE! so sad that we are so sick for days can't work so i am missing money as well this was a horrible experience paying...
