92 Chicken - Chantilly — Restaurant in Chantilly

We went on a warm day in October while on a neighborhood walk. When we walked in, the restaurant was stifling hot 🥵and I could barely breath. I asked the cashier if their AC was broken, but I received no response; perhaps due to a language barrier. We were the only ones there and ordered one 6 piece chicken and waited almost 30 mins. The chicken was just ok. However, the one table available where we sat was gross with a lot of sticky residue and was also extremely wobbly. We had a hard time eating and drinking on a sticky and very unstable table in a miserably hot sauna so we ended up carrying our food home. Placed an order online by clicking on the Chantilly location. Without realizing it, my order was placed at the Centreville location instead.

When I realized what had happened I tried to cancel the order but they refused to cancel the order or refund my money at the Centerville location so I paid for the same order twice because I love Korean BBQ chicken and placed the same order at Chantilly.

In Chantilly, the food handed to me by the incredibly disinterested guy at the counter was sorely disappointing.

The spicy chicken wasn’t very spicy and was barely cooked enough. The shrimp tempura was cooked on the outside but the inner batter was still mushy and gross. I ended up throwing both out without finishing either.

I’ll be avoiding this chain...

Pros: The service and chicken were ok. It is a carry-out place, but there were tables for you to sit and eat there. They were kind to provide plastic utensils to sit and eat there.

Cons: It was too late when I noticed but I did not like that I got charged 25% gratuity, considering it is a take out place. But also I've never been automatically charged gratuity that high...generally 15-20% depending on the place. Since my family and I did choose to eat there, we asked for some water cups but they said they didn't have any and we would have to buy them.
