Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Chapel Hill

They are very picky about the quality of the food they serve you. When I asked for wheat bread there was already a roll on the counter where they prepare subs, the guy grabbed the roll and disposed of it and got a fresh piece, mind you I wouldn't have said anything being I was sure it wasn't there long. As in all the stores you can see everything I can tell as they throw the sub together they were looking at everything thing was asked for. Placing only fresh tomatoes as he push some to the side. Wow. It reminds me of a place called blimpies up north years ago....

Great personalities at the counter. Little pricey, but then again it was adjacent to a Harris Teeter. I overheard part of a new employee's training and the mgr on duty (blonde with beautiful ink) was very smart about why things were done in specific ways, not simply "do as I say" but "this is why we ..." Sandwich was decent. Didn't care for the in-house Jersey Mike's newsertainment feed (-½ star) and my food was packed up as a to go order even though I told the guy it was eat...

Just started coming here a few months ago ...and I am hooked! Staff is professional, friendly, fast and courteous. I've also gotten my teenage sons hooked and they have a new favorite sandwich: the steak and cheese (apparently I've been depriving them in the past). This particular franchise is well-run and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for consistently good sandwiches served up by staff focused on exceptional customer service at a resonable price.
