The service was slow. Our server was running around with her head cut off. Food took forever to come out. My coke was very flat, so I ordered sweet tea. Came with family and friends. There were 13 of us, they divided our food order into 3 sections. By the time we got our food the rest of the family had already finished and was getting the check. So we sat and watched them eat. My teenager was not happy with that, he was really hungry. As we sat there a new family showed up and sat down, got their food immediately. Which is upsetting even more. It was a very active and overwhelming feeling to the environment. A lot going on at once. Parents with their children running around and screaming. Barely hear the person next to you for conversation. The menu is hard to see, dim lighting and different fonts on the menu. Now the food and potato soup was really good. The wedge salad was on point. That blue cheese was so good. The chicken buffalo chip was delicious. The chips were soft and crunchy. So, I would go back and sit in another section.

Large locally owned sports pub. The restaurant is split into 2 sides, one being a bit quieter and the other being more energetic. Lots of bar spaces on both sides, and a big selection of draft beers, both local and macro. I enjoyed the fact that not many places have Smithwicks and Boddington's on draft. Menu is smaller, but offers unique offerings from both the German and Irish sides. We had the Buffalo chicken dip appetizer with home made chips and it was excellent. So was the Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich and the Fish n Chips. Overall we were quite satisfied with the food and look forward to trying more items next time. One small nitpick, but our receipt had two prices....cash and credit. While I understand credit card companies add fees this felt like I was at a gas station and not a restaurant. Further, while everything was reasonably priced, it was not like items were soooo cheap that we felt cash was a great deal and the credit fee was justified. Won't stop me from coming again, but just felt cheap. Oh well.

We have been to Ireland’s Own/Jagerhaus Pub twice in the last month. It is almost hidden from view, off Savannah Highway, near a Food Lion Grocery store. But it is a large establishment with three bars. One bar has an Irish theme and the other German. They offer both German and Irish dishes on the menu as well as other standard bar fare. The beer lists are inclusive with a nice variety of local, German, Irish and other beers and ales. The food is good. The corned beef and cabbage egg rolls were delicious. The potato soup is very good, as is the shepherd’s pie. My wife enjoyed her Reuben sandwich, even though it was too large for her to finish. There are lots of video games and many flat screens for sports viewing. Spoke with the owner both visits, and found him to be very friendly. Server was very friendly and prompt as well. Enjoyable meals both times. We will definitely go back.

Can’t speak for the food as I’ve only been here to drink and play pool at night on weekends, but I will say every time I come in the same bartender (blonde lady) is always incredibly slow and seems like she’s had 9-10 shots of tequila throughout her shift. It usually takes a while to get a drink but last night was the worst. I asked for a draft list after trying to get her attention for a solid 10 minutes, it wasn’t even busy she was just acting busy while she was talking to what seem to be her regulars I always see at the end of the bar when I go. After I asked for the drink menu she hobbled away to get a drink for someone else and never brought a menu back. Eventually the other bartender got it for us and walked away to leave us waiting on Blackout Bertha once more. After another solid 5-10 minutes we were finally able to get her attention for drinks, one of which she quickly forgot about and left on the draft line for another 5 minutes. She realized we were still standing there and asked what we needed to finally gave us our last drink. We got there at 10:30 and didn’t get our drinks/pool balls until almost 11 which didn’t give us much time to play pool. I dealt with the other bartender on the other side of the bar when I went back for another drink and to close out. She was definitely carrying the weight.

The bar and pool tables are nice, I like this place a lot, but it’s a total shame to consistently get terrible service from the same person on what’s likely the bar’s most important nights for sales. Our tabs probably would’ve been double what they were if we didn’t spend half of our time there waiting on drinks. I suspect that bartender is either the owner’s wife...

I've heard good things before, but never got around to it. I have been missing out. There are all kinds of games, a full bar, a great menu, huge selection of beers. I don't know if you will find a more friendly group of servers and bartenders. Alina took care of us tonight and there was nothing I could recommend to change. She wasn't hovering, but kept a watchful eye and checked on us periodically. Understand, it is more of a bar setting, so it is a little louder than some places. That isn't a bad thing, it wasn't too loud, but be aware it is a little louder than some restaurants, which actually adds to the charm. The menu is extremely diverse. If you take a group here and someone can't find something they like, I would be shocked as there is something for everyone. Prime rib, burgers, philly's, schnitzels, fish and chips, salads...list goes on. One of the manager's was out on the floor talking with people. This was our first time there and he talked to us like we were old friends. That special touch is VERY hard accomplish without coming across as fake. I felt like I was talking with a buddy from college. That is virtually irreplaceable for restaurants. There were young professionals, older couples, even families, so literally everyone will be able to enjoy their experience here. Wife had philly...awesome. i had the fish and chips which were amazing. The fries...probably top 3 I have ever had. Cheers was billed as a place where everyone knows your name. This is pretty close in feel. Take the time and visit. I would be surprised if your experience was anything...

I am disgusted with the food and the lack of empathy shown by this establishment. I had friends come into town and I suggested this restaurant. When we arrived I inquired if the Caesar salad had a gluten free dressing. Our kind waitress inquired with the kitchen and confirmed it was gluten-free. I ordered the salad without croutons. The salad arrived with croutons mixed in the salad and dressing. I sent the salad back and again requested no croutons. The salad arrived and I looked under the lettuce and saw that the bottom half of the salad was the original salad full of croutons. It became very clear that the kitchen only removed a portion of the top and covered it with fresh lettuce. I am not gluten-free by choice but medical necessity. Luckily I looked at the salad before eating it and had a horrible reaction to the croutons. I asked the waitress to again take it away and told her I didn’t want to risk a third time and to please bring the nachos. I know the nachos are gluten free from the many times I’ve ordered them over the past two years. I received the order almost 20 minutes later and the queso was too cold to pour out onto the equally cold nachos. This experience was atrocious and I contacted the restaurant and never received any feedback. Will not be back and will recommend you don’t...
