Zero stars would still be too many. We ordered two pepperoni pizzas and spinach and artichoke dip. We received whitefish dip and were told that they accidentally “cooked” us two cheesy flatbreads, but if we wanted the pizzas, not to worry, they would be ready in 8 minutes. This was after waiting for an hour and a half. When the pizzas were delivered, we found out immediately why they only took 8 minutes. They were clearly frozen pizzas, easily identifiable when we bit into the center and they were still frozen, not bad for $18 EACH. Rather than waiting around longer to get them heated, we ate around the frozen parts and asked for the check. They did correct the dip to bring us the spinach and artichoke dip, however, I have gotten more flavor from a dry piece of wheat toast than I detected in that spinach and artichoke dip, but at least it was warm. Now, on to the less offensive things. The Hi Bar professes to be a “high end” bar with a spectacular view. The view is nice, but everything was plastic. The cups, the plates, the “silverware” was the kind that comes is a plastic bag that may break the fork if you try to push it through the plastic wrapping. Similar to what you’d get at a cheap fast food restaurant. Thanks for the worst experience I have had at any establishment that claims to serve food and alcohol, the idea that this could possibly be considered a “high end” place (clearly they believe so with their prices), is the funniest thing I’ve heard all week.

Nice rooftop bar in downtown Charlevoix. The LO Bar looks like a great place to hang out. We had drinks and an appetizer at the HI Bar on the roof. It’s a huge rooftop bar. Drinks were good. Service was great. The view is incredible. We will definitely be back.

This was so disappointing! We drove from Harbor Springs for a date night and loved the look of the hotel and the rooftop. Really wonderful views and vibes - sadly that’s where the good stuff stopped. Nobody’s greeted us so after waiting a few minutes, we seated ourselves. Then we waited a good 30 minutes at the table and nobody so much as said hello. Then my husband went down to the bar area to order - waited another 10 minutes and then came back to tell me he was done and wanted to go. There was a line 15 people deep, with only one bartender and one server. We left bummed and nobody even noticed we walked out. It’s too bad. Great looking spot with great views but not...

Really wanted to like this place but unfortunately they can’t hit the mark. They attempt to play it off like they’re higher end and/or swanky. The “service” here in general is a joke, it’s extremely evident the staff does not take their jobs seriously and are extremely bothered by the minimal customers they have. Honestly I’d rather stay at a motel 8, at least the staff would bother to...
