Pita Cruiser — Restaurant in Charlevoix

My husband and I stopped at Pita Cruiser yesterday for something to eat while we worked an event at East Park. My husband got the Chicken Shawarma Pita and I got the Greek Salad with a pita round. The salad was crisp with everything you could ask for and lots of it. The pita was warm and so good, and I used it to stuff a little salad pocket. I don't usually eat chicken but I tasted my husband's chicken shawarma and it was juicy and seasoned beautifully and the serving was anything but skimpy. I was surprised to see some fries under his lunch so grabbed a couple and they were really tasty too.

It was extra busy, but the service was great! The wait for our to-go order was not lightning fast, but just right (especially considering how busy they were), everything was definitely fresh.

An absolute asset and gem of the Charlevoix Main Street. So very happy these folks have been able to upgrade from food truck to storefront! I have mobility issues, and they were so kind and accomodating for me; placed an order and asked if someone could run it out to my vehicle when I pulled up. Not only did they do so, but told me they will be happy to do so in the future whenever I order; just to let them know in advance. The gyro was top notch, as always. I tried the Loaded Fries and was absolutely blown away! Delicious and meal on it's own! The only minor complaint I have is the price of a side of fiery feta is SIX DOLLARS. I accept the all take-out is pricey right now, but a cup of sauce? If they could cut it back to 4, that would ease the sticker shock just a tad. We stopped here on Sunday, August 4th. My son and I got the Gyro Pita and my wife ordered the Falafel Pita. They were the best pitas that we have ever had and they were stuffed to the max!

Would certainly recommend stopping by here if you're in Charlevoix. There's a few tables inside and a couple outside. We sat outside with our dog and it was great. We look forward to coming back next year when we are back...
