Sunnyside Cafe — Restaurant in Charlotte Amalie

I want to start off with the view because it's absolutely beautiful. But then again where ever you are on the island it's beautiful.

The service here is absolutely horrible. We went here Sunday morning out of all the places on the island this by far has been the worst we've been treated. There was two bartenders that morning and no seating.

The older lady had an attitude because there was no tables at the bottom level and she had to seat us upstairs next to the kitchen. (There was other people seated with us later). Though she did advise us that the service was a little bit slower due to us being upstairs (which we were fine with. We are easy going)

She had an attitude the whole time taking orders and just didn't care to give us any type of normal hospitality.

When we were done she was collecting plates. I helped her by handing her my plate and she literally tapped the table and said "SIT". I have never been to any restaurant or Place of establishments where people talk to you this way. I really think that she should reconsider her occupation if she really doesn't like people.

The food was extremely mediocre for the price. And I'm so easy-going that even if the food with me mediocre and the service was okay I would've still been okay.

I would highly suggest you go to GLADYS CAFE: (5600 Royal Dane Mall, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands 00802) The food is sooo much better the service is impeccable.!! I promise you won't regret going to GLADYS' over this...

This place was absolutely HORRIBLE…but only because of the service. My husband (a white man) and I were recommended this place for breakfast and it was probably the worst service on the whole island. There was a young (extremely shady) Caucasian girl who was “bartending” that morning who had absolutely no clue about professionalism. I could tell right away this wasn’t going to be a good experience from the look she gave me when we walked up to the bar. I can only describe it as jealousy, racism and bitterness. She completely ignored my husband and I, who sat around for a good 30 min waiting for service before we walked out. As we waited for service, we witnessed her dancing behind the bar, small-talking very loudly and giving away free mimosas like she owned the place. She didn’t keep her station clean and actually opened a bottle of champagne between her legs. Her appearance was shabby as well, and she looked like she just rolled out of bed and went to work…perhaps she sleeps at the bar? Can’t say anything about the food or drinks because of course, we didn’t have any. I would NEVER recommend anyone with class and influence to go here. Maybe if they fired her and hired a PROFESSIONAL it would come off as such a dump…with...

OMG !! What a place! Lisa and Jay, and her boys lol! Fantastically awesome! So will visit again! They are the best. Customer service, good, they are pleasers! Gonna miss them! TIL the next time! 🤩

Blue Beards. It starts with check in - 7 people behind the front desk and it took them 10 minutes just to acknowledge us. Very rude, poor customer service. The room was nice, the balcony and view was awesome. No concierge service, when you go to front desk to ask about places, it was rude service, not helpful, like we were bothering them. Main bar, first day here - Travis stated he hated his job. Not something you want to hear. He should have kept that comment to himself. He was rude. Jeremy was our server and he was great, very good customer service. I have to say- Amanda was our server a couple times, wow! You need to hire more just like her! Fantastic. Now the best time we ever had was at the pool bar! Lisa and Jay, they have it all…excellent customer service, friendly, drinks and food terrific. The restaurant/bar above needs to take lessons and tips from Lisa and Jay. The only sad thing is the pool bar closes early...
