Attention to detail! Outside of the spectacular views and winding mountain scenery, this property sits directly above and below some key historic attractions. In less than a minute you could be at Blackbeard's Castle, The actual Governors House and 99 steps or downtown Charlotte Amalie. The views from the rooftop pool and event space is beyond breathtaking! You can literally stay up there all day! The shared kitchen and lounge spaces for table games and fun group activities.
Everything is new so you feel like you're on an HGTv special! HVAC system is robust along with ceiling fans over the beds which is a plus! The hotel is hidden but you feel like you're the only guests in the world when you walk in. The staff(I saved the best for last) The managers of The Mary Anne are like no other!! We felt like they were always available for any asks, recommendation, accommodation or simple need. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and are truly hospitable. From turn by turn directions on the phone to restaurant recommendations, attractions, things to do and see, local recommendations, ferry schedules, local florist for special occasions, etc- they have it covered. They offer recommendations lists for everything that you can think of.. you can feel guilty that you can ask them for anything and it magically appears with in a hour or less! Like not kidding.. they know the area well! They even called ahead to a few restaurants and made special requests for us to dine!!!...
We had so much fun and relaxation that we are definitely coming back! We scoped out where we thought we wanted to stay before picking The Mary Anne and BOY!!! There is no comparison, we left that other place within minutes of parking and walking to their "private beach" No thanks we'll be staying here for now on!!! Thank you "L" and "C" for your hospitality and beyond comfort. Thank you for making our bdays one to never forget! 💚♥️❤️🔥🪻🌻🌹
This review can be a novel so.. just book it and enjoy it. Its a small (boutique) hotel of about 6 rooms so you will feel the love and peace of mind. Enjoy the place or go "outside" the beds are too comfortable! Set alarms and open the curtains before laying down! The views of sunset and water scenery is amazing from all the rooms. We had room #1. You can walk in to town to shop and...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I stayed here at The Mary Anne Boutique Hotel this past week. What an absolutely great surprise this was. Communication from Lyndsey prior to arrival and the day of arrival showed they are organized and made us feel like they were really looking forward to sharing their property with us. Although it is very unassuming as you pull up, that all changes once you enter. Chase was there at the door to greet us, grab out luggage and take us up the stairs to check in. Lyndsey & Chase have their "mascot", Frankie, who was happy to provide welcome hugs. We were escorted down to our room by the trio with a tour of the inside of the property along the way. There is a full kitchen with plenty of seating to enjoy your coffee/meal/glass of wine/play a game. There is also a washer & dryer...yes, a full-size washer/dryer in there. The room itself is a very simple room, but had everything you could possibly need, including a great view. From the room, they took us outside to an incredible seating area on a paved area next to a large lawn. Then we went up the stairs to our own private pool. | There was great seating at what was basically an infinity pool with Charlotte Amalie in view beyond the edge. You're able to walk down the stairs to get to all the restaurants/bars/sights in Charlotte Amalie. I only wish we had taken pictures of the property so I could back up my comments, but their pictures are accurate. Don't hesitate staying in this great location. We feel very lucky to have found this newly-remodeled location and can not wait to get back down for a visit. Thank you Lyndsey & Chase & Frankie for making our...
Read moreThank you so much to Lyndsey and Chase for making our first day and night in St. Thomas that much more enjoyable! Lyndsey reached out to me via text the day before we arrived and arranged for a driver they work with to meet us at the airport ($15 pp including luggage), and it was so nice to get to a new place and not have to maneuver finding a ride! Our flight arrived a few hours before official check-in, but they let us check in early, gave us a personal tour of the property, and chatted with us a while. She also texted me a list of recommendations for restaurants and things to do. We spent several hours hanging out at the lovely pool, which has a beautiful overlook of the city (they are working on a poolside bar area, which will be a nice addition!). There was also a communal full kitchen area with a water dispenser and a washer and dryer. It felt more like staying at someone's upscale home (after our friends arrived later that evening, we were the only guests staying overnight!) and not a hotel. They are located on a hillside so we were able to walk to restaurants (but it is a steep walk) for dinner, which was nice. And the next day, they were flexible with checking out as well (we left before they arrived so we just left the keys at the front desk). I would highly recommend the Mary Anne to anyone...
