Bad Daddy's Burger Bar — Restaurant in Charlotte

First time at Bad Daddy’s! Must say it was a bad experience. My party of four and I came to dine in, whom all work in food industry. Upon being sat the hostess starting playing a sick joke by raising the blinds up and down next to our table as we could see her laughing at the stand… weird. Finally our sever Sage T. Came to greet us about 10-15 minutes later, restaurant wasn’t very busy. We then ordered our drinks, appetizer and food. One of the sides in my party did not arrive. Sage told us the mac and cheese (side that did not arrive) would be out shortly. After 15 minutes and it had yet to arrive I then asked her about it and she said the kitchen messed up (which is totally understandable) and it’ll be out. We then waited about another 15 minutes for it to arrive, though everyone had already finished their food. We mentioned to her numerous times we wanted to order milkshakes, she would just walk away. She finally came back at 8:43 and said they stopped making milkshakes soon so we had to order. We ordered and got our milkshakes. A member of the party got a strawberry chocolate milkshake and said it tasted spicy? So we all tasted it and instantly our throats begun to burn like there was hot sauce in the shake? About 3 minutes later the bartender came over and said “who has the strawberry shake” then took it off the table and said as she walked away “it’s strawberry habanero”. As the bartender told our server about this we saw her laughing because she was the one who made the shake. Instead of apologizing for the mistake she laughed and the bartender had to help us. Food was very good though I just suggest requesting for any server...

We walked in and were immediately sat and ordered food for 3 people, including multiple appetizers, several burgers, and mac and cheese. Most of the food arrived cold and my burger was cold to the touch while only the burger patty was lukewarm. The Mac and cheese was also cold. It was late so we didn't bother to complain at first. However, then a leak from the ceiling started dripping on my back and over our food. When we mentioned it to the manager, we were told the ceiling apparently had a known leak from AC condensation. We also found at this time that the person that seated us WAS the manager! He told me not to sit in the middle of the seat (an indication of where it was leaking) and moved us to the next booth over. When asked why the area wasn't closed off or why we still seated there, he got an attitude and snarked that he didn't know it was an issue until we told him while literally minutes before saying that there was a known leak previously. I said that it was unsanitary to have a drip over our food and asked that he take my burger back (since it was already cold) and have it removed from the bill. By this time, we were ready to leave but we then noticed our waitress hadn't refilled our drinks during this time and didn't come back unless we were leaving. She was then unable to provide us with to-go cups for lemonade because she took too long and the kitchen apparently ran out. When we mentioned the long wait, she blamed the customers for sitting at another table. At this point, we paid for the remaining food and left both disgusted and unsatisfied as the whole experience literally left a bad taste...

Ok tried Bad Daddy Burgers Ballantyne - I haven’t been here in a decade and really enjoyed it.

All this food $30. Bad Ass Burger, customized, Double Angus burger, tomato, pickles, onions, mushrooms, bacon, asked for my brioche bun to be toasted. Burgers Medium.

Onion rings, homemade chips with pimento cheese and their version of coleslaw, which is shredded lettuce with like a special sauce and I think I tasted if not white wine vinegar then maybe a little bit of pickle juice, but I couldn’t be sure.

Really enjoyed everything, especially believe it or not the pimento cheese to dip the chips - and the chips were excellent!

I couldn’t finish it all and embarrassed to admit I had to eat some of it with a fork and knife. It was so big. But all in all a good burger and a good meal.

I really enjoyed the seasoning on the burger as well as the sides. I didn’t have to add any salt and really didn’t need any condiments personally. I did put the shredded lettuce coleslaw on my burger as I cut it and it was perfect for me. I think if anything I will order a single next time so that I could pick it up and I’ll do extra pickles.
