Bad Daddy's Burger Bar — Restaurant in Charlotte

This hostess named aliyah maybe I am spelling it wrong but that's how it sounded in my head when she told me her name .if I am spelling it wrong sorry .she was a god send to us .she was just a pure good hearted person with the greatest kindest soul I have ever seen..after my son and I finish with his doctors appointments we were heading out to catch the bus home we were starving and Didn't have much money to eat out but my 10 year old son was so excited to eat at bad burgers a while back he tried their sliders he fell in love .we don't usually come to this area unless he has a doctor's appointment we live on the west side so is far to us by bus . I told him I didn't have a lot of money on the cash app card and that the little bit that was there was to buy me my medicine that I need to get had like $9 there. (I am unemployed at the moment been a stay at home single mom since my son started having serious health and mental issues).so his sad eyes made feel bad so I said you can get sliders on the kids menu life is to short and is one in a blue moon we stop by on this area.I said I'll just eat when we get home mind you I was aware that it was gonna take a long trip 2 buses home for me to eat something. I was very hungry. But I wanted to make my baby happy is been rough this past few weeks for us and bad burgers got good burgers is hard for us to find a good burger joint plus my son is very picky lol. We get there Aliyah ask us how many ppl, I told her one menu for my son she asked me if I was gonna eat I said and blurted out no cause I could only afford to get my son food only.I don't know why I said it cause I'm always embarrassed I just be talking to much without thinking. So I order for my kid he is excited happy, hyper well he is ADHD so no surprise there lol. He gets his food he is satisfied happy then aliyah the hostess comes by our table ask me if I wanted to order something for myself that it was on her that I could order anything .she said she felt bad by what I said that I couldn't afford me a meal. I said I felt bad having her do that I wanted to cry but my son was like get u something mom is okay .so I did I still felt weird about it embarrassed but I was so hungry. I was thankful and I will come back and pay it forward. I would never forget this woman kindest towards me and my son. She is truly a wonderful for doing that to a stranger.my son can't wait to go back and thank her in person again. Have to keep up with the times. Today in Charlotte you can go to a number of nice places where you can get a good burger for a decent price. Bad Daddys is no longer one of those places.

My family and I went to the East Blvd location Friday night. My little sister beat us there and got our name on the list which works out, its busy, it's Friday I get it.

Apon arrival I noticed their score was a 91 and had my doubts, we also needed to change my daughters diaper. My wife went to the women's room and came back very quick, I even said "that was fast" but looking at her face I knew something was wrong.

There was vomit all over the women's restroom floor. It was 7:30/8:00 at night. There is also no changing table for baby's in either the women's or men's restrooms - so keep that in mind if you have a baby.

Instead of leaving to go wait somewhere else we decided to tell the staff about the restroom and let them address it and just eat. We were sat about another 30 mins after they said our table would be ready.

We ordered a round of drinks and an app - Fried Pickles - and when everything came out, they had forgotten my drink and my sisters was contaminated with something like a fruit fly inside of it. The pickles were slimy like they took them out of the oil too quickly and to top that off, the oil needed to be changed. So to follow everyone fries tasted nasty, and not one of us finished our food.

My stomach ended up being off the rest of the night if you catch my drift but I blame the fact that I don't eat a lot of fried foods and decided to splurge a little this night.

Server was nice - it was busy - he did his best and a another even helped and took our order.

Based on food - the condition of the restaurant and the cleanliness I will not be going back...

So to start this out

I hardly ever do negative reviews, especially negative ones. I am fed up. I had been attending this Bad Daddy’s location on East Blvd since 2019. Used to eat there 3-4 times a week I always enjoyed the strawberry margaritas, Caesar salad, bison burger and fries. Cooks were great, hosts ere great, bartenders were awesome as well as the managers . Over the last year or 2 I have slowly stopped going due to new management and staff. I had hoped thing would get better once they got accustomed and settled but unfortunately it has remained horrible visit after visit. Waitresses don’t seem to care about service and don’t appear to be properly trained. The cooks can never cook my burgers to the requested temperature of MEDIUM or cook an egg over easy. Food often comes out of order rendering my salad as an appetizer useless. My most recent visit 9/2/23 I got usual meal. As usual the burger was overcooked to well done instead of the requested medium. Also the egg was fried well done instead of over easy. Waitress told me she will remove the salad appetizer from my bill. I did not ask for that. I was never offered a remade burger or to remove the actual burger from my bill. I had only taken 2 bites of the burger. The burger $17 compared to a $4 salad. Didn’t seem they cared to really fix the situation after I told them I did not want the burger since it was not the way I ordered. I payed for my order along with a tip and went to the bathroom and was disgusted by a strong odor. I looked up and there was black mold on to big ceiling tiles. This all is totally unacceptable and I refuse to return to this location and will not let others go there as well. This is a major health and safety concern I feel I should let...
