I was SO disappointed in my visit here. I was really looking forward to trying this spot after seeing it on Diner, Drive-Ins, and Dives. As a vegetarian, it's hard to find a good burger spot so I got even more excited when I saw a housemade black bean burger on the menu.
When walking in, I was immediately turned off. The place seemed a bit dirty and there was a lot of table with trash that needed to be cleaned. We ended up sitting in a two person booth with 3 people because the tables were dirty.
We all got black bean burgers. I wanted cheddar on mine vs Swiss and the sides we got was sweet potato fries, regular fries, and Brussel Sprouts.
My burger came out with the original Swiss cheese on it. I didn't want to waste food so I just scraped it off and they gave me a slice of cheddar to put on. They brought us 2 orders of regular fries vs one being sweet potato. The sweet potato fries came out after we had finished eating and they were basically raw. The regular fries were so soft and gross, the Brussel sprouts were drenched in oil and more soggy than crispy, and the black bean burger was so soft it just fell apart. Most black bean burgers will have a little crisp that keeps them together.
Overall, we were all so very disappointed in our experience, the quality, the service, and taste. We will not...
Read moreMe and my son came here looking for a good burger after being highly disappointed by Cheddars…. The restaurant was under renovations so it looked messed up. The guy @ the register was friendly and professional. I got the Hangover Burger. It has potato hash, an egg bacon and cheese. My son just got a cheeseburger, plain. Fries come separately for 3.50. So our total for the bill was around $35 including tip. Which is ridiculous for a burger but I figured it would be a good one. The food came out pretty fast. The fries were ok but not seasoned and they put them in a cup so you don’t see the rest of the small bits and pieces of fries they give you instead of whole fries which there were only a few on top. The burger didn’t come with any lettuce tomato onion or pickles so i asked to get that he got it right away. The bun was good. The veggies was good. I barely saw any hash on it and the patty itself had no flavor. Same with my sons burger but it was cooked ok. Couldn’t tell there was cheese or potato hash on it. That wasn’t seasoned either. What’s with restaurants not seasoning their food? It was mediocre at best but for the price we were...
Read moreIf you are looking for The Best Burgers in the Charlotte area look no further! My apologies for this review is months overdue. On my first visit I ordered Seoul 2.0 Burger double and it transported me to an authentic Korean BBQ complete with Kimchi and crispy pork belly all nestled on a soft and toasted bun. This juicy, flame kissed burger could easily sell for upwards $50+! I've since had just about everything from the Cheeseburger egg rolls, the Burger bowls, etc. Tonight I reluctantly ordered the Hangover Burger. I wasn't too sure about a burger with a fried egg but I decided on it. Let me tell you!! I don't know what kind of Burger Spells Bang Bang is casting but I am completely under submission!! This place has no competition!! The Hangover Burger is stellar! Each one of these 100% grass fed Burgers are in a league of their own. Just when you think you've found your favorite 6 months would have passed and you've realized you've had the whole menu and still can't decide which is your favorite! The staff there is always accommodating, friendly, and add to the awesome experience. I've had burgers elsewhere and none,...
