I would not recommend. My cousin and I went to have breakfast there on Saturday October 12, 2024. I ordered my food 1st from cashier and then another cashier came up and took my cousin's order. I finished ordering so I went to get a table(they gave number to my cousin who was still ordering). I saw a table and asked this tall older man with dark hair and black frame glasses to clean off a table. He tells me I can not have table without a number...okay cool. I tell him my cousin has number and she's still ordering but I have already ordered etc. He tells me you have to wait until she comes with number but mind you...I already ordered! The cashier ( young girl with brownish hair..clueless)was the one that decided to put our orders together even though we ordered from 2 different cashiers( I know confusing). So I just find another table to sit down at. Now next issue. I ordered my food first but got it after my cousin. Smh! I got something called the Frenchie with side of grits and turkey sausage. Nothing was good. The French is biscuit was hard and turkey sausage taste funny....I did not eat.

Then I notice my bill....the cashier added a tip...not happening...so I have to get that corrected.

Oh and the parking is horrible as well.

I definitely will not EVER be going back to this place.

Service(cashier and old guy dark hair and black frame glasses) rude and food not good at all. Don't believe the hype!

Thank you for responding back. I did mention my disappointment to a staff member and she just said I'm sorry that this happened but that was it.

Also the manager was the one I asked about a table.

As far as the tip....it was corrected as I thought at your restaurant but on my account it is still showing.

Thanks again for the feedback and...

A Delightful Surprise for This Late Riser

I'm usually not a breakfast person, especially on weekends when sleeping in takes priority. But Biscuit Belly surprised me by staying open for us later risers, giving me a taste of breakfast even as the morning was ending.

Ordering was quick and easy, and I loved the laid-back approach of choosing your own seat. No need to wait around for a hostess, which makes everything feel more relaxed. Since it was my first time, I tried a bit of everything, and the stand-out for me was definitely the Brekkie Bowl. It’s not your traditional breakfast dish, but wow—it was amazing! The flavors were rich, and I never knew grits could be this elevated. The combination of goat cheese, spinach, and roasted tomatoes was perfection. I added chicken for some protein and was pleasantly surprised at how seasoned the chicken was. Most biscuit places rely on sauces or biscuits to carry the flavor, but here, the chicken batter had its own seasoning, which I appreciated.

As for parking, there are spots directly in front of the restaurant, but they’re shared with a few other businesses, so they can fill up fast. If you’re not keen on waiting for someone to leave, your best bet is the parking lot across the street.

The pancakes were good, but nothing extraordinary. The home fries were tasty, and I also tried The Rockwell Supreme with a fried egg, which was solid.

Overall, Biscuit Belly was a great experience, offering a satisfying breakfast vibe even later in the day. It’s definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a relaxed breakfast spot with bold flavors and something a...

I ordered a bacon chicken biscuit with a shot of bourbon (Four Roses), grits, and an espresso martini. The sandwich was good, fresh, and flavorful, and the bacon was exceptionally crispy. The grits were good and not dry or runny. The espresso martini was authentic and made me feel energized afterwards. They used real espresso instead of artificial flavoring to make the drink.

Now I want to take a brief moment to speak on their customer service. I noticed that there are no trash cans or bins around the restaurant, so that the staff can come by and pick it up for you. There is a small Latina woman named Lorena who works there. Her customer service is extraordinary! Out of all of the restaurants that I’ve been to in the entire city of Charlotte, NC, her customer service is hands down the best and most considerate that I’ve ever come across. She greeted me with a smile, thanked me personally for dining at the Biscuity Belly, came to my table to see if I needed anything, spedily went to get them, and told me that with the shot of whiskey I get to keep the shot glass. Even after I finished, she offered to wrap my whiskey glass up in a plastic bag so I could take it with me on the go, just so it won’t get dirty. She did it all with a genuine smile and was truly authentic with her service. No fake smiles or fake niceness about her. She made me feel welcomed and appreciated to be there. Food can be decent or even average, but genuine customer service will always be priceless to me, and they have the right person for the job. I will definitely be back for more...

If I’m rating based on just the food experience, it’s a 5/5 establishment. I think everyone should really try this place out! I have a particular taste I’m looking for when it comes to biscuits and although this place fixed my cravings for delicious biscuits, it just wasn’t “the best” biscuit I ever had either. Also, LOVE the responsiveness of the crew. They are bussing tables and OPTIMIZING seating arrangements for the guests which is not seen these days but very much needed at these buzzing spots! 2 people don’t need to hog a 6 seater table! Service was impeccable! The reason I gave it a 4 star rating has nothing to do with the food really, but just the location. Don’t even try to find a spot in the tiny parking lot or the street, and there are so many establishments that have towing signs. Your best bet is the parking deck you have to pay for (is this Atlanta?? NOT supporting that pay-to-park culture at all). So rightfully so, for me, it’s a 4 overall. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an amazing breakfast, cause you will wow your family or your whole party, but I’m personally not going to go out of my way to eat here. This place will for sure stick in my mind when out of state friends or family come into town. It is a shining example of what the South has to offer!
