I came to pick up an order for a delivery service. The order I came to pick up was a very small order. I have been doing delivery for years and pick up orders for Chick-fil-A at least 3 days out the week. The guy behind the counter ask me who I am picking up for. I told him name and showed show him the name & order on my driver's app. Then he comes with the order and then grips the bag tight. He says I need you to press start delivering before he will give me the order. I questioned him why? Then a white lady says behind me because people will steal the food after they picked up an order. I looked to him and said I have been in here many times no one ever asked me or any other delivery app driver to press start delivery in front of them. First of all I don't work for Chick-fil-A. I don't answer to a restaurant employee behind the counter. This was done in front of everyone in the lobby with all these accusations. I was the only black person, to suggest I'm going to steal a maybe $10 order of chicken minis and with hash browns. I have done this for 6 years and this is not a common practice at this location or any of the Chick-fil-A locations. I didn't appreciate being lied too as if this was common practice. I could have understood If it was a big order. I could understand if I had seen this practice done when I here 2 days when me and four other drivers were waiting on orders. I was the last one to receive an order , so I watched none of the four other drivers asked to prove their starting the delivery in front of a Chick-fil-A employee, like I was asked today. I went out the door and I turned back around. Just to see and hear the Chick-fil-A employee discussing me. I wanted to speak to a manager then, but sense I was the topic of conversation for Chick-fil-A. I told the employee here is the order back. I told him I will cancel the order and let another driver pick this order up. I called to speak to a manager. Chris who claim he was a manager, which I do not believe. As I was talking to him, put me on without saying I'm going to put on hold. I just started to hear music. He made me wait because I guess he thought I was going to hang up. Then he finally came back to the phone. No apologies. Lied and told me this was common practice that has been done for years. Chick-fil-A not only am I a driver. I eat here frequently. I've lived in this area for over 20 years. I know this store very well. I was treated like a thief. I was singled out over an order that was probably less than $10. I was made a topic of conversation. I was disrespected by so called management when I reached out. I wasn't disrespectful to anyone. I simply questioned an employee's actions. The treatment was so unnecessary. It was absolutely wrong! It was ungodly harassment over me doing my job. For a place that claims Christian values I was...
Read moreI am writing this review on behalf of a family member ,who is a senior citizen , and who also has a disability. This review is about my mother’s customer service experience with shift manager Dalton at the Stoncrest Location.
Very disappointing on this day as Chick Fil-A culture and values state "To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us“ this was not done on this day.The operators of this establishment, please make sure you are hiring managers that reflect your values . God got no glory out of that interaction , a customer left embarrassed and humiliated ,by your manager, who is an ambassador for you and Chick Fil A .
Please read below for further context : The customer service that my mother received was astonishing. She requested to have her receipt reprinted after accidentally throwing it away ,while being accompanied by two young grandchildren. She was falsely accused of stealing by pretending to have a coupon, which she was not doing. She was simply requesting a receipt, but was falsely accused by Dalton a shift manager at this location. She does have a disability, she has always felt comfortable going to chick-fil-a, because of their customer service. In the past , this location had the patience to understand she is not as tech savvy and she has a disability ,the cashier would take the time to help her redeem her digital coupon , that are given via rewards on the app or digital coupon from email after a survey , which is on the receipt , was completed by her with help. At this time I will no longer entrust my elderly family member , who also has a disability , and who is capable of advocating for themselves if given a chance , to patronize this location again . I do not recommend anyone to patronize this location at this time . Until this location honors God and the values of Chick Fil A founders .
I pray the operators take heed to these google reviews ,your staff does not love your business as much as you do! It’s not the big things that destroy a garden , it’s the little foxes ...
Read moreWe used mobile ordering for our family's dinner tonight and 99% of the time it's perfect. Unfortunately, tonight was one of the one offs. Once I got home, we realized that all of our food was correct except a chik fil a sandwich was missing (remembered the pickles on the side, but forgot the sandwich lol). Anyways I took the receipt and drove back to the store (in the pouring rain) to get the missing sandwich. The cashier apologized, but the manager in charge seemed frustrated at me. He didn't speak to me. He just went to the kitchen to rectify the situation. I went ahead and ordered and paid for a couple more items while I was there. Then the manager came over and gave me the food. It was the way he gave me the food though. He handed me the bag and said "Here you go." His demeanor seemed like he was inconvenienced by me. This confused me, because I was the one who drove back to the store to get my husband's dinner. I had to make an extra stop which causes a bunch of issues with 2 little ones who we're trying to get fed and ready for bed. Anyways,he never said sorry once. It really irked me. I don't mind paying a little bit more for chik fil a. The service is normally spectacular, but tonight I was very disappointed. I'll definitely give this chik fil a another chance, because we use this restaurant once or twice a week and as I said earlier it's normally fantastic, but I really wish the manager would have at...
