As of this review, they accept cash*
Initially, I sought out to buy some boba for myself. In my stupor, I did not realize they were now cashless, making the journey there seem pointless. However, on my way back to my gate, I remembered seeing a place that sold confectionery and decided to cut back losses through getting myself some dessert.
I want to first mention the awesome staff that helped me when I arrived here! On my receipt it says Zion. He was very respectful and helpful while answering my rather stupid questions!! Together, I ended up getting the Pecan Bar and English Toffee in both dark chocolate. I would recommend them to doesn’t want anything too sweet but still retain a sweet-tooth nature to them.
Pecan Bar: Whole pecans with a layer of caramel, surrounded by dark chocolate. It’s a nice mix of salty, sweet, and decedent. It shouldn’t make the roof of your mouth rough. It reminds me of a granola bar, would probably give you similar amounts of energy as well.
English Toffee: Earthy toffee surrounded by chocolate, topped with a crushed nut of sorts. Has a great bite to it, I feel like a dog to a bone nawing at it. Not too sweet.
Additionally, the chocolate does its chocolate thing and will melt through the paper when you hold it in your hand...
Read moreSo i get a German chocolate apple. This is my favorite apple company. They are everywhere. However. I get a apple sliced. I walk to sit at my gate & the apple was brown. It wasn't even 10 minutes. I contemplated taking it back. When I did the cashier lady says. " she forgot to tell me it will turn brown if not eaten in 30 minutes to an hour. Listen there is no way this apple was fresh. The type of brown was mushy & dark brown. There is no way in 10 -15 minutes my apple should have been mushy brown on the inside. I've never experienced this poor excuse of a fresh apple from here. I guess they are use to people 🤷 taking and accepting bad apples. Not cool. I would have been extremely mad If i waited to eat on the plane & found an almost rotten middle apple. I purchased a speciality apple almost for $9. Oh they tried it! They are not selling fresh apples because the average traveler is rushing to get to their gate. Luckily for me boarding hadn't finished so i was able to run back to this location to show them the rotten apple. I was not prepared to have to debate and argue with the worker. The nerve to ask if i wanted another...
Read moreI am beyond pissed right now at my order and I can't even take it back. I literally just got off the plane at 6:45am this morning and stopped by the RMCF on my way to baggage claim. I ordered the last 5 white chocolate covered strawberries that were in the display case. Some kind of way the lady puts 7 in my order. I was ok with that because I didn't see the other two. I brought a couple of other things for about $38 plus tip. I briefly wondered why she didn't offer me my receipt after I paid. It seemed like she made it a point to grab it and throw it away without asking if I wanted it. I didn't press the issue because I've gotten goods from that shop before. I went from the shop to baggage claim to my car within 25 mins. I bit into the first strawberry. It's rotten. ALL of these strawberries are ROTTEN! 😡😡😡 This early in the morning there is no way they didn't know these are rotten. Not just a little rotten. ALL the way rotten. I can't even eat the chocolate off of them 😡. If I hadn't already been past security these would...
