Chili's Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Charlotte

This was the worst experience I’ve ever experience. Not only were we cussed out by Michaela ( pregnant server) for absolutely no reason but it some what seemed like the manager justified the attitude and serves. It started out perfectly fine and turned of nowhere. Me and my friends came in a hour before closing, we did have to wait a few mins to be sat which was ok with us being we seen there were a little busy. Once we were sat by the extremely nice young man that the host stand, the we waited a few mins before Michaela came to the table. Everything was perfectly fine and we asked if we could just order to-go and get the ticket all in one simple bc we noticed she had a few tables and they were a lil short staff so we wanted to help out by being out the way. While taking our order, our server even agree it was ok to make her job a little easier. We all laughed about it and everything was great. She left and someone else brought us our drinks ( again we just assumed everyone was helping her out bc she is pregnant). When she did come back with our food, she kind of threw it down on the table and walked off so fast we were able to ask for straws for silverware. But waited patiently for her to come back (this whole time me and my friends and just vibing and laughing at our phones). Once she comes back she ask if everything is ok, we inform her that my mini burgers were a lil wrong and we need a few sauce and straws but she walks off before my friend could ask for mayo. So instead of us having her running back and forth being she did have other tables, my friend decides to just go to the bar and ask so we wouldn’t have our serving running back and forth. My friend goes to the bar and politely says to the bartender “ excuse me may I please have some mayo our server is a lil tide up” (bc she was helping other tables and we didn’t want here to have to keep going back and forth for just us). I guess the bartender went in the back and switched the story up bc our server came back to the table Instantly cussing us out for no reason. mind you we had all paid and tipped her individually to help bc we seen her working hard and pregnant. She’s cussing us outttt for no reason and me and my friend were all extremely shocked and surprised and confused as to what happened for her to come just yell and cuss us out. My friend ask for a manager, she goes and get a manager and the whole time as the manager walks towards us the server is still cussing all through the restaurant and behind us as we are trying to tell the manager what happened. The manager came over with very standoffish energy and even mentioned that the server was upset bc we ordered to go but sat there and ate some of it (again we had already tipped the server but I don’t think she knew that) The manager did get my item recooked and the other side dish we ordered but also put it on the table and walked off without any acknowledgement. It was all soo weird, random and unnecessary especially if they don’t know who they are serving. I will have my ppl reach out to...

We ate here Thursday evening, May 9th. It was, by far, one of the worst meals I've had in my life. I've never sent food back to the kitchen nor stood up and left a restaurant, but we should have done both. The bar was unable to make any drinks, so we settled on just having water, my parents ordered simple vodka/tonic since they were out of everything else. We ordered chips/salsa and some queso - the salsa never came out, so we asked for it. There were 7 of us, so I knew as soon as she brought it out, we'd be done with the chips. She finally brought out the salsa...in a to-go cup with a lid?? Then we had to sit and wait for more chips. And wait. Our food was AWFUL. The fries were old and had been put back into the fryer where they get really tough outer coating, plus no seasoning at all. My burger was pink in the middle. After watching the events unfold, I completely lost my appetite just picturing what the kitchen must look like. My daughter had steak/asparagus/mashed potatoes. The steak and asparagus were so salty, she couldn't eat them, they were burning her lips. The potatoes tasted like they had been made the day before. Really truly disgusting. One meal didn't come out with the others and we waited 25 minutes for that order...and it was wrong. So instead of setting it down so my daughter had SOMETHING to eat, we waited another 20 minutes. THEN, they billed us twice for that order. Once food was delivered, nobody came to check on us for drinks or ketchup etc. We had to walk around the restaurant to other tables looking for ketchup. Our "pre-dinner" drinks that we ordered when we sat down arrived at the end of our meal. It was one thing after another, we will definitely...

Was in need of a late three o'clock lunch before shopping at a large box store down the road. I would be one of five tables in some form of service. The booth I was seated at had tortilla chips on the floor from a prior guest. When I say chips I mean chips not crumbs. The server arrived asking "only one today?" Yes, a party of one today (So annoying) and requested water. Asking if the potato or chili had flour in it was directed to an allergy menu, it had neither listed at all. The server didn't know and neither did the kitchen, so both were a pass. Decided on the Two For Ten Dollars Special. The choices were a salad, no croutons and a double burger no bun due to an allergy, "please let the kitchen know." A Caesar salad would be made with bagged iceberg lettuce which was bland. The burger was meh and the fries luke warm. After getting the servers attention asked for fresh fries, he looked at the plate and saw I wasn't eating them. As slow as it was fresh fries should be dropped just before the burger is finished cooking. "The fresh fries" wouldn't appear until after the burger was completely finished was confusing? The person dropping the fries off actually acted as if this was normal, fries only take about three minutes. Why would they have to be eaten separately from the burger? Asking for the check was directed to the pad on the table for checkout. I also asked for water to go and was charged for Coke? I was drinking water and this had to be taken off the check. Before leaving I got to notice other things in the restaurant that needed attention, bathroom included which had not been cleaned, paper item's replaced or picked up. The water to go never arrived, the server was still tipped 18%. I won't be returning to this location. If you have a gluten allergy this is probably not the place for you. Cross contamination...
