Craft Tasting Room and Growler Shop — Restaurant in Charlotte

I only came in for the first time recently for a single beer, but I will definitely be back!

They have a fantastic draft selection and when I saw on their website that they had a rare Evil Twin brew I had been wanting to try, I made a bee-line here. It was an expensive beer, but priced accordingly for the rarity & abv.

I loved that they keep their draft beer offerings up to date on their website and their bartenders are top notch in service and beer knowledge!

I also really liked that there seemed to be a lot of regulars. In the 30mins I was there, multiple times the bartenders addressed patrons by their first name and already knew what they wanted or were prepped with suggestions for them out of their new arrivals...I used to have that at a beer bar in my old city and I am so happy to have discovered the potential for that same "cheers"-vibe here!

Sadly, I had to have my beer and run, but I cannot wait to return and thoroughly vet their draft selection as well as their food menu and peruse their bottle...

I arrived ten minutes before close to buy beers togo off your rack. I live across the street and have purchased from you multiple times prior to this, but will not be returning. Your server Farr addressed us at the door and said he would be closing in “20 seconds” and asked us to leave. He would not allow us to buy beers off your shelves togo despite us being there before close and wanting to buy beers to-go. He was incredibly rude and turned away a 12 beer Togo purchase from your shelves. You should highly reconsider how you address your customers and how You address Togo orders for beers off Your shelves. I will not recommend your store to anyone else and am highly disappointed in the treatment I received from Farr despite being there before close, there not being too many people in the location due to COVID, and despite being there...

I love Craft! This is one of my favorite places in Charlotte to come for a drink. They have a huge selection of craft beer to choose from. As a non-beer drinker, I appreciate that they always have was cider on tap.

They have really good food as well. The piadinas and flatbreads are my favorite. The pretzel is also good and don't forget about the $6 meat and cheese board special on Wednesdays!

The patio is one of my favorites on a nice day. The indoor space is also nice, but it can get pretty loud when it starts to get crowded.

If you're looking for specialty beer, you can't miss their large bottle collection as well.

This is definitely one of my top happy hour locations and worth...
