Just No. I wouldn't come back here at all. I ordered a customized bagel, and I wasn't impressed. I ordered the green chili bagel with avocado spread, and it came with lettuce tomato, egg, and a roasted tomato sauce.. it was so bland! The double fried hash brown was bland. The customer service could've been much better, considering they'd opened two lines, then closed the line when it was my turn to order. It's just the breeding grounds for confusion. Thank God I wasn't in a rush. When the asked for a name, I told him "Beautiful" the cashier suggested they call me "B" for boy, and I spelled the name "Beautiful"..I didn't feel comfortable giving my real name, nor any name I hadn't suggested being called. When they called the name for my order, I came to pick up my order, and there was some sauce on the bag. It looked like ketchup or salsa (neither sauce was put on/in my sandwich)... the highlight of the meal was my blackberry lemonade... it was OK. My overall impression is not a good one. But no worries, I won't come here in the future, unfortunately. The Einstein Bagels in the airport far superseded the expectations of this place in 2019-2022. I don't know if Einstein Bagels is falling apart or if their breakfast doesn't compare to their lunch. My main takeaway is in hoping they'd upgrade their customer service and ingredients, plus work on their sanitation practices. I ran out after I'd eaten because there was a spider crawling on the table. They need a griddle and a...
Read morePossibly the worst experience/service in Charlotte by one person. There was an elderly lady who had taken my order. With all due respect, she was not fit to work here, especially when working with other colleagues 50 years younger than her. First, she was not wearing a face mask and instead a really small face shield, I’m not sure that will protect you, especially in a food environment. The lady’s hearing was obviously very impaired, and I would have to constantly repeat my order. When she had finally put in my order, I perked up to tell her that less than half my order was incorrect, but she must had noticed this because she quickly put in the order and left, pretending she was doing an errand. before I could say anything, and came back expecting me to pay before I could do anything. I decided to pay as I didn’t want any more agony. Everything else about my experience was quite smooth, I got my order relatively fast without it being too messy, despite them being semi-busy. My food was alright, not saying it was bad. In short, the elderly lady needs to be fired, way too slow and definitely not fit to work. I give 2 stars because everything else seemed alright. Won’t be coming back unless that lady is fired/removed from a working job...
Read moreI recently tried to grab breakfast at Einstein Bagels, but the experience was so chaotic I literally had to walk out. It wasn’t just bad—it was shockingly disorganized. When I walked in, the drive-thru lady was in a heated back-and-forth with a customer because she couldn’t figure out how to enter his order. Meanwhile, the guy at the register couldn’t manage something as simple as ringing up a few bagels with cream cheese. You could tell they were trying, but it was painfully obvious they weren’t set up for success.
The place felt like it was on the brink of collapse. Customers were standing around, visibly frustrated, and some of them just gave up and left—myself included. I mean, how long can you wait for what’s supposed to be a quick bagel order? It wasn’t just one person dropping the ball; the whole operation was a mess.
I honestly don’t even blame the workers. It’s clear they’re doing the best they can with what they’ve got, but the management at this location is failing them—and their customers. If they can’t even handle basic orders, how are they still running? It was such a ridiculous experience that I’ll think twice before going back. Einstein Bagels, you’ve got some...
