Waited in line with my son and when I ordered I got a silent glare. She was not like that with the people that were in front of of me. I was polite and said please and thank you. 8 people got their food before us even though 6 of them were after us in line. I could see our order blinking in the screen in red for 15 minutes. Eventually there was no line and no one left for them to give food to. They still didn’t even start our order. They just started laughing with each other. The last guy that got served said to me “I guess they forgot your order.” I said “I guess so.” I was still polite and I didn’t want to set a bad example for my son. I went to the counter and politely said that we were waiting on our order. Other people were now getting into line and she said “I got you.” Then she started on our order. It shouldn’t matter what race I am or the ladies behind the counter were. I happen to be white and the ladies happen to be African American. It was even obvious to my son that we just experienced racism. I’m sure they experience it way more than I do in life, but that doesn’t make it acceptable. Read moreWell, it could just be my memory, but I remembered these bagels tasting better. Mine had the flavor of cardboard. They allowed me to sub out the Turkey sausage for sliced Turkey no problem, so that was nice. My hubby said the Turkey sausage was not good so a save there for me. Half their bagels were not labeled so you did not know what was being offered. I asked for pumpkin because I saw an advertisement for it on their screen, but they didn't and there was no acknowledging they advertised there was. I saw them make a latte and they did something that annoys the heck out of me. They left it with 2 inches away from being filled, then filled it the rest of the way with whip cream. I mean gross and it also means they left out 4 ounces at least of steamed milk, meaning that customer was not given what they paid for on an overpriced airport coffee. You will be held accountable and your staff also needs an attitude adjustment, no reason to be rude and shout at customers that are traveling and ordering food…. And then you rip them off.
Update: 12/13/23 - I AM NOT CHANGING MY REVIEW - Your service is still poor and this issue is STILL not resolved and even when it is the issue still happened and other customers deserve to know.. what a way to set a standard to me as a customer that I will be refunded if I update my review. I'll just file a complaint with the NC Attorney General's Office, as well as CLT airport, and a charge back with AMEX if you don't resolve this by Friday 12/15.
