If you like apathy, inefficiency, and frustration, then this is the place for you!
This is an airport location where one can expect every customer to be on a tight schedule. On my visit (which took 25+ min) there was a guy who had already ordered and paid was waiting to get his food when he saw it given to someone else who'd come in after him. When he approached the staff about it, they acted as if it didn't matter, and asked if they should go and take it away from the other patron and actually started to do so... But at the behest of hungry guy denying the snatched food approach, they then slowly began to remake the order. He then said he just wanted his money back as he had to go - he literally had a plane to catch (imagine, right!?).
This caused much in the way of passive aggressive apathy towards him and all other waiting customers, along with a huge (10 min) delay for everyone while they resolved the refund.
And that situation only mushroomed, showing the true colors of this facility and its lack of leadership. Even the manager who had to come to the register and approve the refund barely looked at any customers, instead focusing on tapping on the register only after running out of patience herself with the lady supposedly running the register. And of course no apology was offered to anyone - especially the guy who left hungry and very frustrated.
When I finally got to the register, I was met with an attitude of "why am I tolerating you in front of me right now?!" to the level of a blank stare - apparently about my order. When (not yet being asked as she'd not yet said a single word to me) I told her what I had ordered, she continued to give me the blank stare while she raised both arms, adjusted her weave and then scratched vigorously with as many fingers as she could without losing said weave for at least 5-7 seconds and then looked at me with a disgusted look; offering one of those scratching hands (with 2+ inch nails) to take my credit card while speaking the only words she said to me ever: "ten fifty nine."
I am not kidding... I can't make this stuff up. It was truly like a scene from a Sitcom (think Seinfeld, etc.)
She then looked away into oblivion while processing my card and only looked back at me with that same toleration look amazed to see I was still there - waiting for my card and to ask if the receipt still laying on the printer (that I'd had at least two loops of vision in my head of grabbing off the printer myself.)
To this she sighed, tore it off and held it out while looking away as if to say "you're dismissed."
I just had to say as I took the receipt "Apathy will get you nowhere." which resulted in no response whatsoever. I'd been dismissed, you know.
The food itself was cold by this time even though it had been in the oven. I too had a plane to catch and certainly no time to wait on this group of sloths.
The quality of pizza is roughly budget grocery store frozen that has been cooked in an oven instead of a microwave.
Based on the attitude, I wonder how they achieved a 95.5 health code rating. The place didn't look unclean but with such sloth like movement and huge ego attitude, I can't imagine how it would stay clean.
1 pepponi slice and a $4.59 20oz bottle of "Smart" water = $10.59. Far too much for what (can't use the word "value" here without feeling inauthentic) I received...
Now; Add in the free floor show, a heaping scoop of frustration, capped with a big dollop of attitude, with a side of chaos: that is the PZA at CLT experience. Worth more now? Oy vey...
Hey PZA owner: What an investment! Good luck with that...

While the cashier was asking the cook if that was true the manager came from behind me with an unfriendly customer service attitude and said “did you pay yet, did you pay yet, no okay since you’ve been asking non stop about the garlic bread that comes with the meal that we don’t have I’ll give you a discount”. I was thrown off guard by that because one person said they didn’t have it and the next said they did and all I was asking is if I was going to pay $14 for pasta and garlic bread and they didn’t have the bread if that was going to be discounted from my meal price. I did repeat myself and said I would pay the full price, but I was simply asking a question. I know one person's review won’t really matter, but I just wanted to share my unfortunate experience with everyone. The fact that the manager who had a poor attitude with a customer who was asking a simple question and I was not upset or irritate with anyone. I would not recommend this place after my first time...

Slow service; inattentive, uninterested and dismissive staff.
I waited 5 minutes to order with no one acknowledging me. I finally went to the cashier to ask for help (mind you that there were 3 staff members over in that area, chatting and completely unaware they were at work) and she said I had to wait by the counter. When I told her I already had, she conveniently told me that that’s where I needed to order BUT she reluctantly told me she could take my order. No thanks lady. So I went back to the unattended area that I was supposed to order from, waiting another two minutes for 1 of the 3 staff members to actually stop what they were doing to take my order.
The meatballs were terrible. The salad was good. Except for the fact I asked for more dressing, and the girl looked at me like I was inconveniencing her. Her response, “we’re out of dressing.” Really?!? In a place that serves SALAD??
To the Owner/Manager: You should have given your employees the day off on the holidays as clearly NONE of them wanted...
