Travel frequently through CLT & have eaten here several times. It has been okay (verging on good) in the past & the beer is great. But this last experience was bleak. No greeting for about 10 min after sitting, no physical menu (which was always provided to me on past visits), and no water was ever offered, though a large bottle of Evian sat on the table that would be “added to my check” if I chose to open it. Really? Tried to use the QR code to order but couldn’t request a different salad dressing so had to get up to track down a waitress. Ordered the CLT chop. When it came, it had no bacon, two pale sandwich style slices of tomato, two small cucumber slices, three small pieces of half brown/black avocado, and 1/3 wilted, old, black edged greens. (In fairness, it had plenty of corn & feta). In the past, salads here have been reasonably fresh, at least for an airport restaurant. Maybe they were running out of suitable ingredients at the end of the night?? Who knows. After standing up to track down a waitress again (having had no luck in waiting for someone to check on me), I eventually got a small cup of bacon bits to add to the salad. I’ve never left a bad review before, but even though I politely explained that the produce had gone bad, no one offered to replace any of my food or even discount it. They weren’t remotely busy, either, so I can’t write it off to time management issues. Another couple in tne restaurant actually got up & left after seeing what I was served. You can do better in CLT....

Was it them wanting me as 1 of 3 customers to leave more than they wanted me to order and stay?
Was it being told by the manager that I never ordered after I showed them proof of ordering?
I love the original location in South End. It is my favorite brewery in Charlotte. I stopped here to grab coffee and work until lunch where I’d get a beer and food. Within 10 minutes 3 servers told me to order on the QR code or they’d kick me out. The place is completely empty and I was answering emails before I ordered as I just waited 45 minutes in security. I ordered through the QR code and the coffee never came. 15 minutes pass and the manager comes out wanting to kick me out because I hadn’t ordered. I told him I ordered through the QR code and I’m waiting on coffee. He argued with me about how i never ordered coffee even after showing him my order. A few minutes later a different employee brought it out without a word. I was about to order lunch and a beer when a guy standing in the terminal was watching sycamores tv and they told him he couldn’t stand there and told him to move. He asked why there’s a ton of people around and they asked everyone to move including a single mother on the floor feeding her child. The mom was pissed, as she should be, but moved. At that point I needed to leave. I will be enjoying my fantastic service at OMB or Wicked Weed next time I’m in...
Read moreA coworker told me about some potatoes that were on the menu and once I visited I couldn't quite tell what potatoes she was speaking of so I ask the lady behind the counter (Shanea) she never once said good morning and she stated if I wanted anything I would need to scan a bar code to order, When all I wanted was to describe what i was trying to buy then I could've tackle the menu through the bar code...but Shanea didn't give me that chance, she walked off and continued to walk back and forth pass me, Finally I asked another employee named Jamaica if she could help me which she did I got my order Finally at 944a after approaching the take out at 915a..While Jamaica was taking my order Shanea was saying make her order through the app, Shanea was very rude and I don't understand how could she be in a leadership position with the way she treats a customer, she lacks customer service skills and needs more TRAINING and as much as I enjoyed my potatoes and bacon which I got 3 orders for myself and coworkers which came to $48.95....I will NEVER patronize this business again at this location, Shanea was absolutely horrible...I've already told my coworkers we will be taking our business...
