This place has horrid customer service. I just immediately went to this restaurant to pick up my order. Working on the other side of the Arboretum, my boss and I wanted Five Guys for lunch. I called in then walked over to pick up our food. Upon arrival, they gave me the wrong bag of food apparently because I responded to Zap's order instead of Matt's order which I couldn't tell over the din. "Zap" doesn't ring many bells as far as a name anyway. Beside's it is the restaurant's responsibility to ensure the customer gets the right food. Not vice versa. When I arrived back at the store I opened the bag and realized there was three burgers instead of the two we ordered, and no fries. Since there was only two of us, we set aside the spare burger to take home. We still wanted our fries though, so I walked back there. This time, one of the clowns working in the back rudely confronted me and said: "You got the wrong order" to which I replied, I didn't get my French fries. This very rude worker continued to whine and complain, saying how I had "taken" "3 burgers I didn't pay for" when I had just paid $14.59 for two burgers and a regular fry. Any other restaurant worth their salt, and especially a massive chain like Five Guys that rakes in hundreds of thousands of dollars a day, would simply give the customers a fry. Anyways, this one worker (the woman working the cash register was very friendly, mind you) insinuated if I brought back the order I would get my fries. We had already started eating two of the burgers anyway, so I wasn't going to give those back. We still had the spare burger, so for the third time I walked all the way back to the store, grabbed the extra burger that we "took without paying for" (remember this was all my, the customer's fault of course) and stomped into the store. I placed that burger on the counter and grabbed a bag of fries sitting on the counter. When this moron in the back resisted, claiming "It was more than that", I simply took the fries and left, after mentioning that unfortunately I had a horrible customer service experience and would be writing a review about it. Read moreI really struggled to give this location a good rating. This was my first time at this location and the experience was underwhelming. When I entered I was greeted by a young lady ( SAMANTHA M.) SHE took my order and another customer that had walked in, she dropped 2 baskets of fries and then, she left the floor. 2 gentlemen employees remain behind the counter and another employee that was off the clock was in the building. The restaurant quickly had a line of 3 more customers. The young lady was notified but she never returned. An older gentleman employee was struggling to keep up. The employee that was off the clock return behind the counter to help ( my wait time is now 20 mins ) . He made all the sandwiches and excuse himself . * fries still cooking* . One of the employees apologized stating that it was just his 2nd day. I was given burnt fries , a delicious sandwich and good milkshake. My experience could have been better if there was at least a shift manager on shift that knows when to help a struggling team. Read moreI wish I could give my experience negative stars. By far the worst service I have ever experienced. It appeared that a couple of the workers were angry at management and walked off the floor. When I arrived to pick up my online order, there were 2 people working behind the counter. Shortly after three others returned to work and joined the other two. The returning workers were very hostile, dropping multiple f bombs on the floor and standing around talking about their experience. When I placed my order it told me it would be ready in 7 minutes. 35 minutes later I had to ask the people behind the counter where my order was because they forgot it. I am a store manager myself and would have sooner shut my store down and lost all potential money for they day then have a single one of those workers on my floor. Absolutely atrocious.
