I'm a delivery driver who was standing in line behind 2 Caucasians. The hostess who was a Caucasian female, escorted the 2 people in front of me to their table with courtesy and hospitality. When she came back to the front, sadly she completely ignored me and kept walking as if I was invisible. I started to get her attention but decided not to, because I wasn't sure how she would react towards me. Eventually another hostess came from the back with my delivery who was also a Caucasian female. She could've been the MOD. She just handed me the bag and walked right off without saying anything. It's obvious that they were both disgusted by me because I was black, and didn't want to assist me in any manner. Especially the first hostess. If you are a black delivery driver for doordash, uber eats, grubhub, etc. Be prepared to be resented when you come here by certain racist employees. It's not all of them because I've been here on previous occasions and was offered professional customer service. Every black person is not a thug or a troublemaker. I'm not just a delivery driver, I'm a certified life coach who mentors at-risk children while preparing them for real world ignorance such as this. I forgive those 2 employees, and I hope the owner does something about this because it critically makes this restaurant look bad. The date is April 21, 2023. The time was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience here was pretty bad
The main issue was how the staff handled an issue with the food. Long story short, they initially messed up something with the food, and there were a lot of little mismanagements of how to fix the issue, including re-serving me the same food that had had the issue in the first place (powered sugar on eggs). By the time one piece was resolved, other parts of the meal had cooled off. A single mistake can happen, and I wish they would have respected me enough as a customer to fix it in the first place rather than trying to deceive me and taking a piecemeal approach
The issues never really got resolved by the time I left, and by the end of it I was upset enough I couldnāt eat the remainder of the meal. My hands were physically shaking at the table from how upset I was and the stress of bringing up the issue to the manager
The manager apologized and reduced the bill, and I left tip for the server
The upside is that the manager apologized, and the server tried to help. I did get to eat the French toast while I waited and it was good
Iām here on vacation, and this set off a really bad start to the rest of the day. I shouldnāt have such a bad experience that Iām sitting in my car with my hands shaking, trying to get calmed down enough to be able to drive
Based on how I was treated, I am not likely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been eating here for years with my family for breakfast and the service has always been mediocre. Food has always been delicious. My last dine-in experience was awful though. So much so that I submitted my feedback through Le Peepās customer feedback forum and after waiting 4 weeks with no response or outreach, Iām now writing this review. I ordered one of their signature omelettes and realized after a few bites that I did not like it at all. Additionally, the omelette was supposed to be egg white and it was not. I have an intolerance to the yolk. I explained this to the waitress asking if I could order a different omelette and she said sure. I was shocked that when I received my bill, I was being charged for both omelettes. After speaking with the manager, who also stated she called the owner, it was decided that I would have to pay for BOTH omelettes. I find that terrible customer service. I find it disconcerting to make a loyal customer pay for a meal they were not satisfied with. Le Peep needs to do better. My family has not...
