Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Charlotte

Pretty decent place. Family and I went here today and had a few different items. The spaghetti and meatballs is definitely only suitable for kids as the sauce is pretty lackluster and very simplistic. Pad Thai is decent, but you can definitely find better elsewhere, and the Japanese Udon noodles were actually quite nice. They had a good mix of sweet and savory flavors that worked well. My only issue was that my tofu got burned which made it oddly tough and added a burnt bitterness to my meal that was not overly welcome. We also had the garlic cheese bread which came with marinara sauce. It was pretty good and the marinara tasted exactly like Little Caesars Pizza marinara and was much nicer than the sauce that came with the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Price point is pretty wild with meals ranging from anywhere between 7-14 dollars a plate.

Used to come here all the time and then I had bad orders twice in a row. I hadn't been there now for a month or two and figured maybe a transition with management and decided not to rate. I came here today and I was unsatisfied with my orders. Used to be no problem, only getting worse as time goes on. My Trufflemac had almost no sauce in it to include the bottom of the bowl on my to go order and the xtra 2nd sauce that barely covered the bottom of the side bowl was a joke. And to make it more sad it was way more then what was in the truffle mac pasta. The 2 sauces combined the pasta was still dry and dry even on bottom of the bowl. The Peanut sauce of other pasta was completely watery, more then any sauce I've had in my life. This has been a complaint before, difference this time is it's even more so then ever before! I would if rather spent over 23 dollars on a single meal at a drive thru or only a couple microwavable dollar tree meals at a 23 dollar...

Let me start this by saying, I am extremely picky about my food and the service that I receive. This was my first time coming here and I will definitely be going back. I ordered the Penne Rosa with shrimp. However, after I got home, bathe my child and was about to eat...I discovered that it was not what I ordered. My first instinct was to be pissed off. Because again I don't play when it comes to my food. I grabbed the food and flew out the front door, but I looked at the time and thought they would be closed since everything in Charlotte closes at 9. I still decided to call. I spoke with one of the employees who immediately knew who I was. I received some of the best service on that phone call. I was hesitant to eat the "wrong" meal but I'm glad that I did. It was great!
