This is my second time eating here. I was excited as everyone else for its return. The first time was in October, and as expected, ordering by phone was crazy, and online kept crashing. But not before it received my money, and didn't send the order to the restaurant. No problem, I called, and a very nice manager refunded my online order and placed another one over the phone. The restaurant is a hub, so expect to order and exit. This is not a problem because other places are like this also. Service was not personal because they were overwhelmed, but we did receive a nice welcome from the two ladies at the counter, and they were handling it pretty well. When we received the pizza, it was really good. The pizza was hot and delicious. It had that same flavor as I remembered. The monkey bread was very fresh and good. Fast forward to when the hype dies down, February. I went in to order, no line. The service, (shaking my head). It took a while before anyone came from the back to greet us. When she did, we didn't receive a friendly hello, a smile or anything. I wanted to tell her, go back and try it again, but we just ordered anyway. Pizza was still good, but I had to search for my pepperoni. 😡 Overall, I'm glad it's back, but they have to hire the right people to keep them coming back. It's not all about the food. I will try again at a later date. PHOTOS ARE FROM...
Read moreUPDATE: I called the next day after this happened and spoke to Brionna (Brianna?) one of the managers and she was very nice about it and told me they were fully aware of the situation and that an employee had made a mistake about the cutoff time for ordering, which is actually at closing time. She said the owner had been in that day retraining staff on proper procedures, and that she would make sure I got a refund, and also offered me a free order.
Now THIS is how to handle customer service issues! I applaud the manager and the owner for handling this properly and the pizza is DELICIOUS. I can also tell it's good quality because I'm sensitive to MSG and cheap fillers, etc and this pizza doesn't make me feel bad after I eat it. It's seriously YUMMY, folks, try it! I'm so glad to have a tasty pizza and good company so close by. Will be ordering again and again. Thanks Godfather's!
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! I placed an order online at 8:40pm and my card was charged and it said it would be ready for pickup at 9:00pm. Got the confirmation email too! My son arrived to pick it up and was told "we stopped taking orders at 8:30pm" --SO NO PIZZA!!! And now trader's joe's is closed and I HAVE NO PIZZA OR DINNER OF ANY KIND! I have not received any notification of a refund either!!!!!! If the cutoff is 8:30pm, then DON'T ALLOW PEOPLE TO...
Read moreI walked in and waited on a order I purchased for my mother on wednesday night. I peeked in the kitchen window, cause everyone in the lobby waiting on their food. I saw about 3 people back there eating food, playing loud rap music that you could nothing, but profanity the whole time. They were back there laughing, giggling.Even the slim guy who came out as a Manager. What a joke!!The Gm in Lexington run his store 100 percent better than this. The owner need to revamp and get a whole new crew. This is very bad buisness. It seems there’s no structure,no good leadership. Mr. Manager whomever you are. You need to take your job more seriously. There’s no respect for customers. Other customers were looking in the little kitchen window as well. How do you have about 8 people back there and still behind. Get people who want to work. Customer Satisfaction Is Everything. This restaurant is going to crumble if they don’t get it together. About 8 customers walked out and some wanted their money back, The women upfront were doing there job. Come on now. We were excited, but you have to be professional about your job . They back there like they’re in the club. Manager dancing with them. Just pure...
