My family ate at the Ballantyne Harriet's for the first time last week after seeing rave reviews on social media! We're not the kind of people that seek out trending restaurants, but I'm so glad we made the trip for this one! We ate lunch mid-week and between the three of us ordered an OG Burger, Royale Burger, Cheese Curds, and Kid's Cheeseburger Box. The burgers were wonderfully smashed and seasoned - and we're quite large! The cheese curds were quite literally to die for, though for the price, I would have wanted a few more curds in the little paper bag (we ate them first and fast lol). Our 8 year old daughter has a big appetite and still couldn't finish all her food (she raved about the craft soda and french fries). Customer service was impeccable and we will definitely be back to Harriet's again soon. We live right in-between the Ballantyne location and the new Concord location, so we're anxiously awaiting it's opening! Though it's a bit of a splurge compared to most lunch offerings, you can taste the quality difference in the food and can tell that the workers really take pride in what they are offering to their customers!

I drove 40 mins to try these burgers i was hearing about and it was worth the drive!! The burgers were perfectly crisp and so were the fries and you have to get all sauces for frys the all are amazing ( secert hack get extra garlic alioli and add it to your burger it takes it to the next level) and they have house made soda I had the black cherry and cola both taste unlike any soda i had before very high class smooth taste didnt leave my chest gassy or anything gotta try all favors waiting on new location as its closer to my house hope quality is the same!! Manager at main location is GREAT very helpful and extra friendly made the experience smooth and got my food quickly hopefully new location energy matches! Last i tried the frose i believe its call the frozen wine and man was it delicious!! definitely gonna get that everytime i visit it was gone before i left the parking lot! Definitely would recommend and i'm patiently waiting on new location i will be there!!

Took the fam here. No line when we went so service was quick. Minimal seating inside, not good for bigger groups inside. Outside had those heaters so was comfortable. Kids meals are ample food for the price. Seen a lot of reviews about the cost not lining up to the product but clearly (and unfortunately) we all need to reset expectations of price points in this post Covid world. Anyways, I got the Royale with fries, tried the cheese curds. All was good. The thousand island like sauce on the burger was different. Everything tasted “clean” - not bad. It was a good meal. Kids ate everything. I didn’t care for the dill ranch. Was just shy of $70 for a family of 4. 2 kids meals, 2 burgers and the sides for adults are a la carte, we got 2 sides. Service was good, people walking around asking if you were good. Pictures are of the Royale burger and the kids meal - with the fries.

Oh, Harriet’s Hamburgers, where do I even begin?! From the moment I stepped into your vibrant, welcoming location at Optimist, I knew I was in for something special. The aroma of sizzling smash burgers and those golden, crispy fries hit me like a wave of pure joy. I’ve been raving about my experience to everyone I know, and I just had to share my love for Harriet’s here! Let’s talk about the food—pure perfection. I ordered the OG burger with a side of fries, and every bite was a masterclass in flavor. The patty was juicy, perfectly charred, and packed with that nostalgic, all-American taste that makes you feel like you’re at a summer cookout. The bun? Soft yet sturdy, holding everything together like a warm hug. And those fries—crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right. I’m no food critic, but I’d bet my last dollar that Harriet’s is serving up some of the best fast-casual burgers in Charlotte. My friends who joined me couldn’t stop talking about their food either - so I KNOW it wasn’t just me having the best experience! What really sets Harriet’s apart, though, is the vibe. The staff were lightning-fast, super friendly, and made us feel like regulars even on our first visit. It’s clear you all take pride in using high-quality ingredients and delivering happiness with every order, just like your website says. That kind of care doesn’t go unnoticed. I posted a quick pic of my burger on social media, and my inbox is still buzzing with friends asking, “Where is this place?!” I’m basically your unofficial ambassador now! I’m already counting down the days until my next visit. Keep doing what you’re doing, because you’ve got a lifelong fan here. Thanks for making my day with your incredible food and...

We tried Harriet's a week ago for lunch after seeing a lot of the fanfare around their new location in The Bowl. The location itself is nicely designed, kind of has a "modern throwback" feel to it, if that makes sense.

We were greeted by friendly staff (we arrived around 11:15 so there wasn't a line). We ordered for two adults, and our order consisted of 2 Burger Royales, fries, curds, 1 side sauce (Dilly Sauce), and one drink. The total was around $36, which seemed a bit high given what we were getting. And yes, you'll be asked if you'd like to leave a tip.

We sat inside at first (there is limited indoor seating) but moved outside so that our child could play in the turf area in front of the store. The outdoor patio is nice and offers plenty of seating. There is ongoing construction nextdoor, so it might be a little noisy for a bit, but this didn't really bother us.

One thing Harriet's promotes is fast service... and that was something we didn't receive. It might have been 10 minutes before our food was delivered, but we noticed a few others who came in after us had their food brought to them. I suspected some of them ordered online ahead of time, so I kind of wrote that off.

The food - The curds are good, as well as the fries. I do wish the sauces came in a larger container - you really have to portion it out for your fries if you want to make it last... and for $1, it's a bit high in price. Our burgers seemed pretty salty. Not sure if that's normal, but it was on the edge of our taste threshold. The cheese they advertise, though, was PHENOMENAL.

Was this the best burger I've had in Charlotte? No - but I'd eat here again, albeit probably when I'm willing to spring $15-20 for a...

Harriets is where we are tending to go to celebrate literally anything (and we actually also enjoy more expensive restaurants), because the vibes on all levels are outstanding. Just went there again for Valentines day with my wife
