Title: Authentic Italian Delights at "Mama Ricottaās"
Rating: ā ā ā ā ā (4 out of 5 stars)
Review:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Mama Ricottaās," an Italian restaurant located in the heart of the city. As an avid fan of Italian cuisine, I was excited to try this establishment, and I must say, it did not disappoint.
The ambiance of "Mama Ricottaās" was warm and inviting, with rustic decor that transported me to Italy. The dim lighting and soft music created a cozy atmosphere perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends. The staff was friendly, attentive, and had an extensive knowledge of the menu, which made the dining experience all the more enjoyable.
Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at " Mama Ricottaās" offered a wide range of traditional Italian dishes, and each one was made with meticulous attention to detail. I started with the Caprese salad, which was a delightful combination of fresh buffalo mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and fragrant basil. The flavors were simple yet vibrant, and the quality of the ingredients was evident.
For the main course, I opted for the classic chicken Parmesan. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the creamy sauce was rich without being overpowering. The dish was generously topped with crispy pancetta, which added a delightful smoky flavor. It was evident that the chef's expertise shone through in every bite.
To finish off the meal, I indulged in a slice of Tiramisu, and it was heavenly. The dessert was light, fluffy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The combination of espresso-soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone cheese, and a dusting of cocoa powder was a perfect end to the meal.
The only reason I didn't give "La Trattoria" a full 5-star rating is because the prices were slightly on the higher side. However, considering the quality of the food, the portion sizes, and the overall dining experience, it was still well worth it.
In conclusion, if you are looking for an authentic Italian dining experience, " Mama Ricottaās" is a fantastic choice. The restaurant offers delicious food, a charming ambiance, and attentive service. Just be prepared to splurge a little for the pleasure of savoring these delectable...

Ā Ā Ā Read more*EDIT: 10/17/24 We returned to Mama Ricotta's with my family for my birthday celebration per my choice! The server was incredibly on top of things and attentive to our experience. The food was impeccable as always. We tried the Tomato & Mozzerella appetizer "FULL" size for our party of 5, and it was the perfect amount for us. Drizzling the balsamic & oil over top was the perfect move. I could not help but have the Penne Alla Vodka with Chicken Cutlet again as it has just the right amount of spice and flavor I crave. My family tried quite the variety of items including the Amma's Cheese Ravioli, Lasagna, Chianti Braised Short Rib, and Spicy Shrimp & Mussel Linguine. They enjoyed the Milanese Onion Soup as well as the House Salad. The Tiramisu was a hit with the family, and I was surprised with a complimentary authentic Connoli for my birthday. They had seasonal cocktails available as we enter the Fall -- I believe what I tried was some sort of Spiced Plum Sangria which was exactly what the doctor ordered. Be sure to make reservations here for your group. It is well worth it. Exquisite! We love Italian food and have been wanting to visit Mama Ricotta's forever and finally made it happen - the best decision we've made! The service was excellent, helpful, kind, efficient The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and slightly upscale, but still fairly casual. The food was INCREDIBLE. We had the Penne Alla Vodka with Chicken Parm Cutlet and the Chicken Pasta Primavera with Lemon Cream Sauce. The appetizer was the toasted bread with Goat Cheese Dip (very creamy and tasty). We each ordered the Italian Sangria to sip, which was a fantastic choice. They serve rolls & oil with seasonings at every table that are melt-in-your mouth good. We took our Nutella Pie dessert to-go because we did not want to miss out but were too filled up on delicious bread and pasta to eat in. the prices were reasonable for what you get, considering we had leftovers as well. We spent roughly $113 total for two people (not including added tip) for perspective. Highly Recommend this...
